Storming inside the prison not far from the Emerido imperial palace, Crown Prince Hemeri looked like he was quite in a hurry. General Xarian also adjusted to match his pace while glancing at him with concern from time to time.

When Hemeri Van Hale suddenly halted his steps, Xarian Hythe almost bumped into him as it was so unlooked for.

Was the Crown Prince thinking twice? General Xarian wondered how great it would be if this were to be the case! He hated to think of the consequence this would bring again like it always was.

"Nothing will change even this time, Your Highness," he quietly said to his friend, hoping to change his mind. "You have already done it many times."

Hemeri was a bit troubled but after a moment of silence, he was filled with determination once again. "Seeing him again once will cause no harm." He tried to resume his steps when he heard his friend.
