After the planet consciousness told Gideon of the upcoming threat and his training. He spared no effort to train himself these last few days and now he was nearing level 70. Currently, he just finished talking to Victoria and went into the forest to grind.
'System show me my stats.' He brought up his stat window after he killed another sacred level monster.

If you're wondering why he wasn't using his stat points, it's because he didn't want to use them unless he encountered an opponent that was stronger than him, he would be able to gain an instant boost in power.
Seeing that he had managed to level up quite a bit and also level up most of his skills at least once, he nodded, but he was far from satisfied. He would need to progress much more if he wanted to defeat this upcoming opponent.

The third day of the tournament had arrived and everyone now had a good idea of who would progress out of all the groups, and Victoria was undoubtedly the one with the highest chances.
If she were to win her matches of today, then that means that even if she looses one of tomorrow's matches, then she would still qualify for the battle royale.
Victoria sat inside her room looking a bit tired. She somehow managed to make her parents believe that she dyed her hair, and it was another matter of convincing them to let her leave it.
"So Gideon, what did the planet consciousness say about the world we're going to." Victoria asked curiously.
"Well apart from it being bigger than it, it also said that there are other races apart from humans there, and we'll be receiving training from some of its experts." Gideon recalled one of the conversations he had with the planet consciousness and answered.
"Now that I think about, if we were to lose to this guy which we won't, he'd pretty much become the main bad guy, because the ability to devour a planet's life force is pretty scary, and there are trillions upon trillions of planets in just our galaxy, so imagine how strong he'd be if he ate all of them. Would he then be able to eat even stars and maybe whole galaxies?" Victoria gave a terrifying suggestion causing Gideon to shudder.
"I refuse to believe his ability doesn't have any drawbacks, if it doesn't then I think the universe just played itself." Gideon answered firmly.
"Anyway we don't need to think about this now, we still have eight years before he attacks, moreover we pretty much don't have any information on him apart from his ability's general use, so let's not get ahead of ourselves." Hearing his answer, Victoria nodded.
"Yeah, you're right."

Victoria's first match was disappointing but somewhat expect. Her opponent was at the bottom of the group and he immediately surrendered since he even if he were to miraculously win, he wouldn't be able to progress to the next round.
So after returning to her room and training a bit with Gideon, Victoria came out again for her next match.
Her opponent had long light grey hair and eyes with a fair face with a few freckles. She held a rapier in her hand and looked at Victoria intensely. Her name was Kira and she used the wind element.
"3... 2... 1 Go." The countdown ended and the two charged straight at each other. Fire swirled around Victoria's fists while wind covered Kira's rapier. Just as the two were about to clash however.
*FWOOSH*
A small gale pushed Victoria's feet. It wasn't strong enough to cause her harm, but definitely enough to offset her balance and cause her to stumble forwards.
Kira's rapier blurred and five rapier tips approached Victoria's vital areas. But Victoria reacted accordingly and spun her body around with water surrounding her body.
*TING TING TING...*
The wind tips were deflected in different directions and with the remaining momentum, Victoria swung her fist that was once again covered in flames.
Kira was prepared to counter the Puch as wind coalesced on the rapier tip drastically increasing its sharpness.
But to her shock, the fire on Victoria's fist vanished and was replaced with water. And like rubber, her fist seemed to bend around the rapier but was still headed for Kira.
Kira wasn't slow though and managed to create a small wind bubble in front of Victoria's fist and managed to slow it down enough for her to move her head.
She then bent her head down and actually advanced while covering her shoulder with a wind vortex, she wanted to ram her.
Victoria was only able to make a water barrier in front of her chest before they collided.
*BANG*
Victoria was unsurprisingly sent flying by the blow and she nearly crashed into the barrier but managed to stop herself by planting her feet into the ground, creating to long trenches in the process.
'My ankles! Why do high rankers make that look so easy.' Victoria shouted inwardly as she suppressed the pain in her legs and chest.
Kira didn't stop her advance and once again charged in. And to the crowd's shock, Victoria seemed to be slowly entering a passive position as she seemed to have difficulty in blocking Kira's attacks as she was just built for speed.
"What's this?!? It seems like Victoria is in a disadvantageous position. Will she fall here." The commentator shouted and the crowd couldn't help but get such thoughts, would she really loose. Meanwhile Victoria's parents were frowning ever so slightly while Gideon just shrugged. To him if she lost then they could leave faster.
However the commentator's words annoyed Victoria, so she stopped playing. Just as the rapier approached her again, she decided to use one of her stronger spells.
"Dragon fist." Her fist was suddenly bathed in flames which morphed and turned into the head of a roaring dragon.
Kira's eyes constricted as tried to retreat, but the blow was also incredibly fast along with its power. So without a choice, he tried to defend with a wind barrier.
*CRACK BOOM*
The barrier was broken through like paper and Kira was only able to block her chest with her rapier before the attack landed.
The attack exploded upon impact engulfing her completely before she was sent flying and crashed into the barrier and collapsed unto the floor. She had fainted.
The crowd was quiet for a moment before erupting in cheers. Such a display of power was incredibly unexpected and was something everyone loved to see.
Victoria patted her chest before stepping off the arena. Another victory was secured.
