Ambrose placed his hand on the back of his neck and reclined on his chair. He looked at everyone around the room who seemed to be frantically flipping pages and writing down notes--except Valerian who just continued reading his novel. Even Ana was helping Lily study.

"I don't get why you're so stressed about all this?" He sighed.

"You should be worried too, idiot." Margo told him looking back from her seat in front.

"What do you mean?"

"If you don't get at least an 85% average on all subjects, you'll be advised to transfer schools."

"Advised to transfer schools?"

"It means you'll get kicked out, dumb dumb."

Suddenly the realization struck him like a painful ball of lightning. He hasn't listened to a single lecture since being admitted into the academy.

"Oh no, I'm done for."
