There was a body lying on the ground in its own pool of blood, the corpse belonged to someone Noah had considered a sister, someone that had cared for him for as long as he could remember
Serah was dead, her head separated from her body and lying a few meters away from her now fallen body
She died while praying, without knowing when or how it happened, she didn't even realize she was being attacked.
The temperature of the surrounding area started to drop, with iceflakes forming in the air, Noah's trembling had stopped at this point
The only thing left was cold rage
His mind started to work at an accelerated rate, processing all it could
'Diara'
He dashed over to her office, if something of this sort happened at the temple and the lodges were empty, there was no way Diara wasn't a target too
On getting to her office he found out it was in the same state as always, not even the trace of a scuffle soma battle didn't happen here.
He still didn't understand what had happened or what was going on but right now he had to find Diara, perhaps she was at the location of the fire in town
Running back to the hall, he created an ice coffin, setting Serah's body into the coffin, placing the head where is should be too
"I'm so sorry,Serah"
He muttered, sparing one look at his sister, why was he too late?
He force the top of the coffin, putting a lot of his aether into reinforcing the structure so it doesn't collapse before he got back, then he sprinted towards town

The minute Noah stepped into yown, Helen in her hiding spot sensed him
"Oh no, why did he pick such a time to return, Goddamit I have to do something"
She picked up the water fairy lying on her shoulder and put it on the floor, she then slit her wrist, using her blood to draw an magic circle around the fair
"I'm sorry everything had to end this way Maria, even in death, you're still not allowed to rest, but we can't let that boy die, so forgive me this once, I'll join you soon"
The fairies eyes fluttered open as Helen was in the middle of her speech, she looked at her friend and smiled before closing them back and lying in her previous position
Just like Maria had accepted her fate after the incident in the ruins, or when he gave her life for the town, she was accepting once more to save the young lad, sparing him from the same fate as them
Only a piece of Maria's soul and consciousness remained in the fairy, but it's joint efforts with Helen was enough for the magic circle to be completed
"Who would have thought I'd be using this particular spell out of everything your tried to teach me
Goodbye my friend, I'll be going ahead of you"
Helen scoffed as she completed the circle, the boood circle converged on the fairy and the fairy shit out in a fast beam, seeking it's target
Helen fell afterwards, it took everything she had in her to complete the magic circle, she had overdrafts her source, that coupled with the blood loss and the strain from the previous battle finally took it's toll on her, she had finally died.
Now only one guardian remained

Noah raced into town, but the scene he saw left him standing in a daze, he was only able to recover when a beam of light but him
He got sent flying, but when he got up and geared for battle, he found no target
"Run, run as far away from here as possible"
A voice sounded in his head, albeit faint, he was able to make it out, but how could he just leave when the town and people he loved were lying in ruins, their bodies littered allover the place
"No, not yet"
He shook his head as he resisted the voice, gathering more speed
He'd atleast try to find her, it was at this moment when he wasn't sure of what state or condition Diara was in, that he acknowledged her as his mother
He didn't want to lose her
Noah's feet eventually brought him towards to town entrance, however, his feet got stuck in place, he could no longer move his body
With the density of aura he was facing, it was a surprise a mid level awakened was even standing

Diara arrived at the location where the battle was going on
A viel separated Ryan and Karlon from the rest of the world, inside the viel was Karlon's domain but outside the viel was pure destruction
Floating in the air, Diara could see the harm that had been done to the town and its inhabitants, and he could make out who caused it
People dressed in a black outfit and mask, the same as the man watching over her, the outfit bore and uncanny resemblance to what Ryan was wearing when he came to her office, something she had designed in the past
The empire really had overstepped it's bounds
Raising her hand, time Infront of her starting reversing, the portion of the viel in front of her returning to before it was cast, then she walked in
(A.N: She's walking in the air, I didn't forget she was floating or the viel was high up in the air)
With every step she took, all movements in the area around her came to a stand still, everything frozen in time

This was she could thread the dangerous asteriod domain without worrying about being hit
She took another step this time vanishing and reapearing great distances away away from her previous location

She was in a higher state of time, and with this she interrupted the fight between the two men
One hand out to deflect Ryan's strike, and a time reversal field to stop Karl's attack
"Right now, I don't know who to blame or what to make of things"
Diara stated as the aura around her started to surge, a phantom of an six winged angel appearing behind her
"So depending on your answer, you both might die right now, just what happened, who caused this"
'Crap, she's up, this is just what I was trying to avoid'
Ryan thought to himself as he pulled back a few meters, he knew he couldn't play around or extend things anymore
Diara was who taught him unarmed combat in the first place and she was just as strong as he was
Stretching his right arm, he pulled out a flaming broadsword from his storage space
"True elemental form: Scarlard"
Ryan's fiery body changed, the fire receding in most parts of his body, his body getting bulkier and darkening, magma flowing from a core in his chest into veins,their movement visible all around his body
His hair now reminiscent of a lion's mane, except it was fire in place of hair
Karlon expression witnessing Ryan's true elemental release could only scrounge up his face
His opponent wasn't even given it his all against him
"Diara, it's that bastard, I don't know why, neither do I have the leisure to think about it, but everything that happened here tonight, he has a hand in it
Everyone who died, the town, he's going to pay for it all"
If Karl's words weren't proof enough, Ryan assuming his true elemental state was enough proof she needed
She flexed all her muscles, before she clenched her fist

She vanished from her location, appearing everywhere all at once, attacking Ryan from every angle
Ryan even with his superb reaction reaction speed and power couldn't react against all
He could swing his sword

However even with this, Ryan couldn't avoid two hits, one to his chest, the other to his back
He braced expecting a force or pain but nothing happened, instead, Diara appeared a distance from him, looking slightly disgruntled
Kaldur at this point knew there was nothing he could do to help so he backed away from the battle, not wanted to become a hindrance to Diara
Ryan noticing that the attack did no harm, broke out into laughter
"Oh princess, how low you have fallen indeed, even with such a flashy attack, you still weren't able to lay a hand on me"
Diara only shook her head as she looked at Ryan, her best friend, the one who was supposed to be her fiance and king before she got caught up in the nuances of fate
"No it's already over"

The two places Ryan was hit glowed silver before he reverted back to the state one would usually find him in town
Wearing worn out clothes with shaggy hair, his energy and true elemental release all but sealed
