章節 63: Vol. 1 - Epilogue

Julia's hammer had bashed so much flesh by now that it almost turned red.

As soon as Julia saw that Zenith and that girl she'd come looking for were safe, Julia once more made the call. 

"FALL BACK!" 

Only, this time, it was much, much harder to make it out. 

One of the Blades tried to retreat only to be ambushed by two High Rollers. A Black Widow tried to do the same and was shot down by an arrow after just a few steps back. 

Try as she might, Julia simply couldn't be everywhere at once. She couldn't protect every single person that was trying to run away. 

[... All I can do is prioritize my own. I'm sorry,] she thought, turning her back on them and focusing solely on protecting her fellow Blue Shields. 

The first step to doing so ended up being to stop Max from getting stabbed in the back by some Thief-class player who wanted to be a bit sneaky.
