CHAPTER 253: Spiritual Contract
.
Although the battle between the demon and Ethan seemed to have gone on for hours and hours, the total time didn't even exceed 30 minutes.
Bai Yu and the green-haired woman, who had witnessed the fight, only saw a lightning-fast series of attacks back and forth, with no real interruption in between.
On one hand, Bai Yu wasn't surprised by a battle of this magnitude, as she was used to seeing much longer and more destructive ones.
On the other hand, the green-haired woman, though also a being of the spiritual rank, without her full memories of the past, could only marvel at the clash between these two spiritual realm beings.
Even more so seeing that Ethan was not only able to counter the demon but was effectively eliminating all the demonic energy thrown at him.
As a wood elemental spirit, she felt an instinctive repulsion toward demonic Qi and could tell that this energy was anything but simple.
1: The next chapter will be released in an hour or two.
2: Some of you reported an issue with yesterday's chapter, and it seems the problem isn't affecting everyone.
I asked the WN staff if they could check for any issues with the chapter, and they told me to reupload it just to be safe.
Now, there shouldn't be any problems of any kind.
If you still encounter issues, try clearing the app cache and reopening the chapter.
I apologize if this caused any inconvenience, but don't worry.
For those who have already purchased the chapter, there's no need to worry, you won’t have to repurchase it.
And for those who haven’t bought it yet, the chapter’s cost remains unchanged, fortunately.
3: Well, what else is there to say?
Oh, right, there are about 50 chapters left until the end of the first part of the novel. At the moment, the novel has three parts (though this might change in the future).
I think now is a good time to leave a review about how you've found the novel so far, whether you've enjoyed it or not.
Don’t hold back and feel free to share everything that's on your mind.
Regarding the future of the novel, the first part will most likely end by December or, at the latest, in the first few days of next month.
Beyond that, depending on the novel’s performance by the end of this month, I’ll have to consider how to proceed moving forward.
The novel is far from being considered a success, but thanks to you, it’s not a complete flop either (and for that, I sincerely thank you).
Writing chapters takes me 2 to 3 hours each, and considering that I have a job and many other commitments, I can’t say it’s easy to dedicate enough time to writing every single day.
Depending on how this month goes, I’ll need to decide whether to slow down the chapter release schedule and dedicate some time to my second project, or continue at this pace.
Right now, things are too uncertain, but I’ll let you know toward the end of the month.
As always, thank you for your continued support and for your patience with me and my novel.
Have a great day!
