章節 10: Diablo. That is My Name.
[Early chapter cause, why not? I don't like having a draft so...]
Rimuru's P.O.V
"Nice to meet you. My name is Tempest Rimuru." I greeted, purposely alter the name.
I looked at the two in front of me weirdly as they still have the 'how the hell are you here' look. It is really uncomfortable.
Also, why is that white-haired man here so early? Do I have been prophesied again or something?
"*Cough* Sorry for the pause. You three can now leave as I'll talk to the guests. Don't forget to write a report later, Dog." Sarutobi said as the three vanished.
'Wow.'
"Then, who are you, and why are you in the Leaf Village?" He asked as Diablo looked at me.
I secretly nodded as we already have practiced it before those things happened.
"Diablo. That is my name. We are just an outsider from the land of tea so we decided to travel but this child wants to be a ninja so we decided to live here from now on." Diablo explained without leaving a single breath.
"But Mr. Tempest."
"Stop! *Cough* I mean please just call me Diablo. I'm more comfortable with that." He said, covering his little mistake as the two nodded.
"Then Mr. Diablo. Why did you choose this Village over all other places?" He asked.
"Um... Since this is the sanest village of all?" He questioned the question as the white-haired man slightly laugh.
"*Cough* Is that so? Thank you for the compliment." The Hokage thanked with a sarcasm behind it.
"Your welcome." Diablo replied seriously. He probably didn't know about the man's sarcastic remarks.
"*Cough. Then, I still have some questions for you. I'd like you to answer it all if you are alright with that." We just nodded.
'I thought so.'
"Then. Diablo-san. Are you a ninja of a Village?" The response is no.
"How old are you two?" The response is 27 and 5 years old.
"Can you tell us about the place you have visited?"
And some kind of nonsense that even a spy can easily get through. My suspicion is right. They didn't think us about being a spy or something. It is all about me. They are so obvious.
"Alright. That all is enough. You are welcome here in the Village of the Leaf. This is your house key and I'll call someone to guide you there." He said as we slightly bowed in respect.
"Come in." He said as an unknown Ninja opened the door.
"Hokage-Sama." The Ninja said with frustration.
"It's him again? This is the fourth time this week. By the way, they are Rimuru and Diablo. I want you to guide them on the house 132." He ordered as the Ninja nodded.
"Follow me." He said as we just followed.
"My name is Shimada Ashin. Nice to meet you." He greeted normally. We also introduced ourselves.
Before he guides us to our new house, he first gave us a small tour around the area. After that, we finally arrived at the house. It was a small but fit for two people house.
It has three bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. It was a plain but cozy house for me.
After Ashin took us here, he left already without going in. That's why Diablo immediately closed the door and we walked towards the largest room.
After we confirmed that someone is listening to us, he cast a silencing barrier around us.
"Rimuru-Sama. Can I ask what are we going to do now?" He asked while sitting in front of me.
I immediately turn myself in my slime form and 'hmmed. I already have decided what I am going to do now but I don't know if Diablo...
"Diablo-Kun. Are you sure you don't have something to do in Tempest? If you have you can just tell me." I said.
"I really don't. And if I have, some of my subordinates can do that themselves. I don't need to worry about that. *Whisper* I also want to brag this to Shion-san." He said with a whisper that I can hear.
"Sigh. If that's what you want. BUT. We are not the only one living here." I said as he looked at me in confusion.
"I'll explain it to you later. Be ready to be a babysitter then." I laughed.
[A/N: If you're having a thought about Rimuru will become a real babysitter, don't worry. It has another meaning. The others don't really want the MC to become a babysitter of the real MC and even me so I'll tell you this now.]
"Don't worry! If you don't know, I'm more gentle than Rimuru-Sama thought." He said seriously and I can't argue with that.
'Then should I ask the author to change the title to 'Rimuru Babysitter'?'
"That's all. By the way. I'll explore the Village. Want to come?" I asked him as he shook his head.
"As the only servant here, I'll be the one who'll keep this house safe and clean." He strongly said as I sighed.
"You don't have to do that. If you need anything, just call me. Bye." I said while my clothes suddenly change into my usual summer outfit.
I then visited some 'important' places around the village. I still haven't met some important characters and the sun is already ready to down so I picked my last destination to be... the training ground.
I don't know what number it is but I heard the number 5 so let's leave it like that. While I was wandering around, I'm still being stalk by exactly 3 ninjas on each side of me.
"Can you still stand?" I heard some voices as I followed them.
I saw two people doing some magic. I mean some Jutsu. It is really a satisfying scene. I still can't understand their hand signs but I'll be looking forward to learning that.
It is really good to learn new things. It's making my nonexistence heart pound.
[...]
'Ciel? What's wrong?'
[Master, sorry to say this but it may be not possible for you to learn those things.]
She said that cause my hope crush.
'What. Why? You are the one who created this world, right?'
[Yes. But it is all based on the Master's memory and not the actual person who created it. That's why I let those characters do their role and create what they create.]
'Ah. I am actually looking forward to it...'
[I-It's not that impossible.]
'*Beam* Really?! Can you really do it, Ciel?'
[Yes. Although it may take so much time to finish it as Master's current ability can affect mine.]
'I see, I see. Take your time. I'm not in rush to learn it.'
[Thank you, Master]
'Hm...'
I really don't know why but I'm sure Ciel is acting weird lately. Is it because of the decrease in her ability? Sigh. I don't have to worry about that. She is my Ciel after all.
"Hey, kid." A voice asked and I looked at it.
It was a lady that is probably a Ninja. I feel like I've seen her in the manga but I feel like not.
"What's your name?" She asked with a soft voice.
"Rimuru. Who are you, miss?" I asked as she chuckled a little.
"You are polite for a child. I'm Uzuki Yūgao. What are you doing here?" She asked.
'So you're one of the stalkers. No wonder.'
"Hm... I want to visit all the places here! It's different in the Land of Tea!" I shouted as she chuckled more.
"Refrain to come to a place like this. It might be dangerous for you, alright?"
"Hm! Then, I'll go now, Uzuki-san." I said as I run away from the area.
After that little greetings, I return back to give Diablo some food I buy with my power-made money.
As I just need a little sleep at night since I'm still half-human, I used that time to tell Diablo all about my plans and considerations about it.
And that's how my first day in the Village of the Leaf ended.
