" I think I will have to leave very soon, I haven't even informed him about my wedding which will be held next week, and he’s always impolite" she said, taking her seat.
Ruby consumed the last hamburger in her whole house slowly.
"I hope I don't die of hunger" she muttered silently as she watched round her small house
"I'm really in anguish" she said, trying hard to prevent the tears from dropping.
She came out of the house and stood at the balcony, it's actually a rooftop house.
She looked at the people passing by,
"Everyone looks happy, walking around like they have no problem, but can everyone possibly reveal their difficulties? No" she thought miserably
Then she sighted Janet coming far away. She's her only friend who resides in the same compound with her only that she stays downstairs in a bigger flat, she lives comfortably, she works at Peak Empire as a secretary of one of the Peak brothers"
“Hi Ruby" Janet greeted when she arrived the compound and Ruby approached, hugging her and ushering her to her room.
"So, how was the interview?" Janet asked
"It went.... badly, I wasn't acknowledged again" she said unhappily.
"Don't be unhappy, just keep trusting in God" Janet responded.
*Thanks Janet but I pray I don't run out of hopes soon. Beginning from tomorrow, I'll be a dishwasher at a nearby eatery" she said
“Dishwasher?" Janet asked
“Of course, it's better than sitting at home all day, lurching in hunger. Our irrational landowner will soon come and I am still owing for the previous month. I really don’t know how to manage my life any longer" she said gently.
Janet placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder
"Just keep trying dear, continue trusting in yourself, all will be fine ok?" She said and Ruby nodded
"Have you eaten?" Janet asked
She paused before nodding but her stomach gave her away by making starvation sounds.
Janet chuckled…
"Your stomach just said it all, I'll go change into something simple and we'll go eat out" she said and flashed her warm smile before going to her apartment.
“She’s very benevolent" Ruby said.
RICHARD’S HOUSE
"How comes the meal is peppery? I thought I said the pepper should be minimal “Richard complained when he tasted the food served to him.
“I’m sorry sir, it was Miss Val who instructed we make it peppery" the maid responded.
"Yes Love, I ordered them to make it peppery because I feel like nauseous whenever I take a meal with low or no pepper" Val said, coming downstairs.
She wore a very sexy and revealing nightie without bothering to tie the rope at the front, her bra was visible and her breasts are bouncing as usual.
"Perhaps it's not a good idea that you're passing the night here tonight Val, I dislike spicy foods" he said, dropping his cutlery.
“But I love spicy food Darling, please, can we not argue tonight?" She said giving him a peck.
He hissed. “You’re really a bone in the neck Val" he said.
"I know, that's why you love me isn't it?" She said embracing him immediately, allowing her hand caress his chest
"What have you done to me?" He said, nudging her pointed nose
"It's termed love Darling" she responded
He kissed her neck and she moaned slightly as he sucked on that part
"I love you Richard" she said
"No one troubles their loved ones Valarie" he said.
“I just like disturbing you, that's why" she answered
He grinned and raised her up her as she clipped her legs behind him
"Can we devour ourselves instead of food" he asked seductively
She bit her lip and he stared at her propped up boobs
"We need food for that exercise anyways, eating before eating" she answered and beamed.
“Certainly, but right now with what you're putting on my Lady, I can't control myself, I might fuck you right here" he said.
“You don't mean it" she retorted
“I wasn't smiling" he said kissing her intensely
She reciprocated and circled her arms round his back
He walked upstairs with her in his arms
He dropped her on the bed and continued the kiss
She took off her nightdress herself
He came all-over her again and smiled, he kissed her hair
"I love you Val" he said
"I love you too Richie, you’re my life" she replied
He rammed inside of her and she held firmly.
At An Eatery**************
"Order anything you feel like eating" Janet said as she sat facing Ruby
*Thanks" she replied
“Hey" Janet called
“Me?"
“Quit thanking me for every little thing I do, we are friends aren't we?" She asked
“Of course," she hurriedly said
“Good ....ok waiter, bring me toasted bread with ketchup and a diet Coke" Janet said.
“Alright Ma" the server replied and left
“How’s life at Peak Empire?" Ruby asked
“Believe me it’s nothing exciting “Janet replied
“Why?" Ruby asked
“Have you ever heard of “sex god????” She asked
Ruby nodded negatively
“Well that's my boss's pet name" she replied
“What, do you mean Albert Crown?" Ruby said
" Do I have an additional boss elsewhere?, Of course the sex maniac is my boss, I've seen him severally in the washroom , fucking some of the staffs and lately he started defiling his office as well, my ears needs purification, I've overheard so many ridiculous sounds" Janet responded, obstructing her ears with her palm
“That’s very terrible" Ruby said
"Did you just say terrible?, It's worse , and you know what?, I need to start searching the Oxford dictionary for a word that's worse than terrible, he's more than terrible" Janet answered.
"What about the Elder brother? The CEO?" Ruby asked, taking a mouthful of her food.
"You shouldn't have asked about him, have you ever heard of the impolite on this universe? He is, impolite and Full of pride" Janet replied
“And one vital thing, he has a fiancée which I'm certain they were made in heaven, their behaviors match a lot, Ruby, talking about them makes me want to puke, let's just eat" she said.
Ruby smiled before resuming eating fully
