章節 80: Plans

When Fig and I ate everything they brought more. A part of me wanted to refuse the food but I knew that if I wanted to fight our way out we'd need our strength. After eating our fill and changing we are led to a room with Ryder and the female witch. They both stopped speaking when we walked in making me curious and nervous.

Ryder walks over and says "I've given you time to think.. what is your choice?" He ask with a smirk. I bite my lip and say "I already told you I won't do it." I stand tall and try my best to act tough. Fig puffs out his little chest to show his support and Ryder's smirk grows. Before I have a chance to react the witch suddenly has Fig and we're shifted to the human world right before the damn plant.

I cry out and run to the witch but Ryder catches me and holds me from behind. I kick and scream but my current strength is not enough and Ryder gives me a low dark laugh as he crushes me against his chest. "Give him back to me now!" I say shaking with anger. The witch laughs and says "Silly girl.. I will give him back once you make the plant grow."

"Don't do it! No matter what Syn, don't do it!" Fig says as the witch uses her magic to apply pressure on Fig's little body. "Stop! If you hurt him I will kill you!!" I yell and struggle again. "Well?" The witch asks holding Fig. I grit my teeth and say "I. Won't. Do. It!" The witch smiles and says "Very well.." Her power grows and Fig cries out.

"STOP! STOP! PLEASE STOP!!" I yell and scream kicking and twisting with everything I have as Ryder tightens his hold saying "Shhh.. all you have to do is make the plant grow and it'll stop. I promise." He strokes my hair leaning in close as tears roll down my face. Fig's little body twitches and when the witch applies more power Fig cries out again breaking my heart.

My anger soars and I see red but with my current strength I can't overpower them.. As my tears fall my mind races.. thinking.. Fig spits out blood as the witch applies even more power causing all the strength in me to seep out leaving me limp in Ryders arms. He leans in placing his lips against my neck and I feel his smile grow as I say "Fine... I'll do it... just stop hurting him."
