Harrison's POV
"I heard from my grandfather that you took Kayla to my family a few days ago. Why didn't you let me know in advance?"
Peter's voice preceded his figure as he entered my study, moving faster than his shadow.
I looked up, watching Peter, dressed in a refined and elegant suit, stride into my room. Clearly, he had rushed over from some social event immediately upon receiving my call.
"Did you happen to run into that b.astard Donald? He didn't do anything out of line, did he?"
At the mention of Donald, Peter's face still wore that contemptuous expression, as if merely uttering the name had tainted his noble lips.
"I came to visit your grandfather Michael, so I didn't tell you. As for Donald Rufus, well."
Although Michael, being my elder in terms of age, deserved a more respectful address, it was normal for me, as an Alpha, to refer to him by name. As for Donald Rufus, I snorted, expressing my attitude toward him with a disdainful sound.
