"I will find Alex, and I will send his head to his mother. I will always love you and forgive you, but there is no way I will let another man touch you…."

"There is no way…."

Meng Bao slammed the door and left me petrified alone in this apartment.

It took a while for me to process everything. When I finally realized the severity that could happen between Meng Bao and Alex, I immediately rushed out to catch Meng Bao. 

"BAO!" 

I slammed the door open to stop him, but it was all empty when I saw the corridor. There was no sign of Meng Bao anywhere as if he just disappeared. 

"Oh no, this is bad," I took out my phone and then started calling Meng Bao. But even after few beeps, there was no answer from him. 

I tried calling him over and over to no avail. I gritted my teeth and then rushed out to the parking lot while calling Alex.
