  "I'm sorry," she muttered seeing James frown at it himself.

"It's all right, Ember," James told her although Ember saw the way he protectively pulled Tasha closer to his side.

"It wasn't like this before," Ember muttered in shock, and Ethan tightened his arm around her. Ember could feel the anger flowing through her mate and the agitation of his wolf which she knew was because of the chaos of her own emotions.

"Where are Lux and Misty ?" Ember asked trying to calm her emotions while stroking Ethan's arm which nestled around her waist.

Cade's stopped eyes flashed to Ember who frowned at the look.

"Uncle Cade …"

  "Eon has Lux on patrol duty while Misty is in the kitchen," Cade revealed, and Ember frowned at the information.

"But Lux is the new Beta," she murmured stunned into silence when Cade shook his head.
