“Princess Arabella, what should we do now since the incident in your office just now has been reported?” she asked anxiously.

Lina sure moved fast.

“No wonder that slutty Omega turns out to be a scheming bitch. Like mother like daughter,” Iris suddenly growled in my mind.

“True,” I agreed with her and turned my head to see Max, who had his eyes fixed on the road but seemed to know what I wanted to ask.

“Just pretend that you are feeling unwell for several days, and we’ll arrange for some people to monitor Abigail in the hospital,” he mindlinked me.

“As for the media, just tell them the issue is still under investigation,” he added.

Pretending to be sick and hiding for a few days seemed like a cowardly thing to do.
