章節 11: Suffering And Despair
The two burly bodyguards and frightening looks dragged Luna, then one of them ordered Luna to get into a big and luxurious black car with a grunt. "Hurry in, Miss!"
Luna was forced to obey the guards' orders without saying a word or two, she just kept quiet while crying slowly. At that time Luna felt herself very suffering and desperate, Luna was unable to fight the Wijaya Family guards. She didn't even dare to turn on her cellphone which was stored in Luna's bag.
After Luna got into the car, they rushed to take Mr. Arthur's daughter to the mansion located in the Sakura housing complex. Elsewhere, a middle-aged man was ordering his five personal assistants to look for his son who hadn't been home since last night.
Charlie stood tall in front of his five assistants, Charlie's eyes were sharp and cold. Charlie's facial expression was different from usual, there was no friendliness that was shown on Luna's future father-in-law's face.
"Juna! Do you know where Andy is?!" Charlie asked in a rising voice.
The big tall man shook his head while looking down, "I don't know, Sir."
Charlie took a deep breath after hearing the answer of Juna, one of Charlie's personal assistants. Then he looked at the other man who was standing beside Juna. "Robby! Do you know where my son is? And do you also know who the woman he is close to is??"
"I am sorry, Sir. I don't know where Mr. Andy is, but I know the woman who is close to your son," replied Robby, his voice shaking.
"Good job, Robby! What is the woman's name and what does she do? Does she come from a rich family or a poor family?" investigated Charlie.
"She ... works as a novelist and journalist, Sir. Her name is Elizabeth, she comes from an ordinary family. As far as I know ... currently Miss Elizabeth ..." Robby suddenly stopped his speech.
"What else do you know about Elizabeth?" Charlie raised an eyebrow.
"Miss Elizabeth is pregnant with Mr. Andy's child," Robby replied without looking Charlie in the eye.
Charlie's heart skipped a beat when he found out that his only son had a girlfriend who was pregnant with Andy's child. Charlie's face turned pale in an instant, he felt himself hit by something so hard he could barely support his bulky body with both legs.
"Juna ... quickly find Andy and Elizabeth everywhere," Charlie ordered, his voice softened because he was still surprised by what Robby had said.
"Alright, Sir," Juna said as he bowed in front of Charlie.
Without delaying time, the five of them immediately stepped out of Charlie's study, then they got ready to look for Andy and Elizabeth's whereabouts throughout City G.
After giving them the order, Charlie sat down in his oversized chair. He hoped that his five personal assistants could find Andy and his girlfriend at the hotel, at Charlie's villa, or in Andy's luxury apartment.
"Andy! I didn't expect you to dare to have special relationship with a ordinary woman and even impregnate her behind my back!" Charlie's monologue, he clenched his left fist.
"I will not hesitate to cross your name from the family list if you marry Elizabeth!" growled Charlie.
A moment later, Charlie called his friend who was in the hospital. He wanted to talk about Andy and Luna's marriage with Arthur, but Arthur's cell phone was off.
'The number you have dialed is currently inactive, please try again in a few moments.'
Charlie snorted in annoyance upon hearing the operator's voice, he couldn't wait for Arthur to turn on his cell phone. He quickly got up from his seat, stepped into the living room, and made a call to Arthur's mansion.
In the mansion, there were only two housekeepers and three security guards who were guarding outside the mansion. They were all busy doing their respective tasks, no one paid attention to the ringing of the telephone at Arthur and Jessica's residence.
"Arthur, where are you? Why are you so hard to contact?" Charlie muttered in annoyance, ruffling his hair roughly.
