Prince Qui had done something today that he never thought he would in his entire life: he told someone that he liked them. Never in a million years had he imagined himself in that situation but it did happen.

He guessed that miracles really do exist.

"What do you want to make sure of?" he asked Tianshi Xue. Her eyes were looking up at him, all wide, scared, and the same time curious. He wanted to freeze her in this moment simply because she looked beautiful. 

He added, "What do you mean if it's going to be you and me in the end?" Then he grinned. "Do you think I'll feel this way to anybody again? Like… I'd be really surrounded with women who could make me feel like this?"

His hand was still on her face and he felt her cheek heat up underneath his thumb. He did not get why she was blushing. He was only being honest with his feelings.
