Both of their faces turned to the opening doors. A moment later, Prince Xiaodan stepped inside, with his hands clasped behind his back. He looked around the room before his eyes landed on them on the table.

Tianshi Xue did not know why, but her body stood up in shock. There was an ugly feeling spreading through her, like she was caught doing something that she should not be doing. "Prince Xiaodan."

Her eyes flicked to Prince Qui who was looking bored. "Hello, brother. What brings you here?"

"Not much," answered Prince Xiaodan with the same cold tone. "I was just wondering why the two of you missed dinner."

"Thought we were getting dirty here in the library? Oh please." Prince Qui turned to his book, closing off the two of them.

Prince Xiaodan's eyes looked like they were shooting fireballs at the other prince. "That did not even bump in my mind."

Prince Qui only grinned. "Shame."
