"I would like to disqualify all Mist Swordsmen and collect their swords." Yui said making the eyes of everyone in the room opened except Mizukage who expected some demand from her but not this one.
A silence remained in the room with only the breathing of the people in the room forming the mood, the patriarchs wouldn't try to meddle in Yui's request and as the Mizukage didn't say anything the silence continued in the office.
"Did she really make that request?" Kisame thought thinking he had become a good friend of Yui's when he asked her to eat pasta the day she joined the swordsmen but who knew she would stab him and the other swordsmen in the back at the first opportunity.
The other swordsmen were almost on the same line of thought feeling a bit offended by this request, "Well, there's no way the Mizukage can accept that request." They thought together and at that very moment he stopped tapping his fingers.
"Very well, surrender your weapons." The Mizukage's words echoed in the hall leaving the climate before cold even colder, the swordsmen in the fog froze upon realizing that the request was really obeyed and they felt betrayed after everything they had done in the village.
Grudgingly each of them passed their swords to Yui who smiled as he received them all just waiting for Kisame to grudgingly deliver Samehada, "I suggest you be careful, she has a very demanding taste..." He tried to warn Yui who simply grabbed the sword and felt his Chakra being sucked lightly before a growl came out of the sword of approval.
Kisame at that moment felt his heart being stabbed with the betrayal of his longtime companion and returned to his original depressed position, the Mizukage decided not to ask what Yui would do with the swords despite being relics of the village he needed her to lead the attack to the middle of the war.
"Well then with that we'll close the meeting, you can leave." He said and everyone headed out of the room while Yui carried with her small body blades much bigger than her making the scene look quite comical.
However Yui was not inattentive and noticed the Yuki clan patriarch sending a signal for her to follow him which she did after eluding the ninjas who were supposed to watch her, following his scent she arrived at a somewhat rundown tea house and he walked in through the front door still carrying his swords.
Inside the Patriarch was waiting drinking tea at a table and he motioned for her to come over, the shop was empty with just the two of them there at the moment and without showing any kindness she sat at the table while placing the swords on the bench beside .
"Well then Sir Patriarch, let's skip straight to the important part where you tell me why you and the other clan patriarchs agreed to this crazy plan." Yui said as she took the cup of tea the Patriarch was drinking.
He didn't get annoyed by her actions and just smiled weakly as he took another tea from under the table, "I'll tell you but, I can tell by the aura you give off that you're not very calm." The moment he said this the cup in Yui's hands exploded and the wooden table shattered as veins protruded from Yui's face.
She usually has a lot of emotional control to make sure she doesn't lose her temper and go around killing anyone she finds annoying, however the Mizukage's latest brazen actions and his suicidal plot putting her in front of him were making his patience run out.
"Yes, I'm quite unstable right now so it's good that the lord Patriarch gives me a good reason not to test these swords by my side." She said looking menacingly at the Patriarch who decided to cut to the chase, "So in a nutshell." He said and gave a news that surprised Yui.
"The water lord has died and a great hole has been opened in the politics and power of the water country, at this time the Mizukage is the most influential person and all of the water lord's sons want his political support to assume the position of lord."
Yui's eyes widened at this news and all the anger inside her leaked out immediately replaced by pure calm and reason, "How far has this news gone?" She asked as she thought about the problems this would bring.
"Among influential figures in the world alone, an official announcement will be made in 1 month along with the official declaration of an heir to the position but as the situation was unexpected and no one was ready it can wait 5 months before there is real stability." The patriarch said taking a sip of tea before placing the cup on the table and bowing his head slightly.
"That's why I must make a request to you, I ask you to protect my son Kenji and all ninjas that are sent with you." The patriarch said in a heavy voice as his heart was crushed for throwing the responsibility of 10,000 lives onto a child like Yui.
He was expecting a rejection or a curse on him however all he got was a charitable look from Yui who realized his despair at having his son sent to his death.
She let out a short breath and mentally contacted Saiken, "Hey Saiken is there?" She asked in his head and soon an answer came, "I am, do you need my help?" Saiken said a little surprised that Yui called him that out of nowhere.
"Tell me, what is honor?" She asked how he felt awkward about this random question, "Well, according to what you humans say Honor is a self-imposed rule that shouldn't be broken as it means betraying yourself." He said trying to piece together the information from her memories and gave the best answer that came at the time.
"I understand, thanks." She said to Saiken and opened her eyes and faced the Patriarch, "Very well, I will protect each life entrusted to me with all my strength" She paused while giving a small smile.
"That's my ninja way of being!"
