章節 6: Chapter 6
[Third Person Point of View]
[Time Back]
As the group was escaping towards the elevator, the doctor who had taken shelter in the room where the heroes had left, came out.
She tremblingly looked at the guards passed out on the floor and quickly located a computer and called Doctor Desmond.
"What do you want!? Why are you calling me here? Why hasn't dubblilex contacted me?" - Doctor Desmond asked annoyed since he had just finished his meeting with the real bosses of Cadmus and received an ultimatum.
They told him that they were not going to send anyone to help him stop the heroes despite knowing that the mind-controlled guards could not be a threat to them. If not, they rather told him that if he could not take care of stopping those companions of the heroes, they were going to take care of him, since it was his fault that he had entered and gone so far discovering the real Cadmus.
Desmond could only hold back the anger he felt and nod, leaving him to trust that the Kr project would stop those heroes and if not, since possibly the kr project had not listened to Dubblilex's order due to his great mental resistance, that Guardian and Dubblilex together the guards to do it.
He could only regret that Dubblilex's telepathy is not strong enough to put the heroes to sleep without causing much trouble.
"Sir, about that..." - She could see Desmond's face and saw that he was not happy, but she still had to tell him. - "Dubblilex betrayed us, it seems that he did not ask the Kr project to take care of the heroes, but to free him, now he, the Kr project and Guardian are escaping with the heroes."
*Bang!*
"WHAT!!" - Desmond shouted as he hit the table making the doctor shudder.
"Damn!! Everything was going so well, why has everything gone to shit now!?" - Desmond shouted as he turned off the computer not wanting to hear anything else.
Then he turned to see the refrigerator where all the serums of the Blockbuster project were, then blinded by his anger he opened it and grabbed one of the serums.
"With this I will return order to the Cadmus project..." - He said while looking at the serum in his hands, despite not having tested the serum before with humans without thinking twice he took the test tube to his mouth and drank the entire serum.
"AARRGGHHH!!" - in the room and down the hall only Desmond's screams could be heard, fortunately there was no one nearby to hear them.
[First Person Point of View]
We were running after getting out of the elevator, luckily we didn't find any guards and now we were going up the stairs to the first floor of the Cadmus building.
"I already have a signal again, I'm going to send a warning signal to the league." - said Robin who had been looking at the holographic screen of his glove.
"Then do it and we'll wait for them outside." - said Aqualad as we finished going up the stairs.
Then as we turned a corner I managed to see the exit of the building, my eyes lit up as I could finally get out of here.
"Man, that was easy, I thought it would be harder to get out with all those guards." - commented Kid Flash running next to Robin.
'He made the flag right?' - I thought and then something went through the floor causing pieces of concrete to shoot out in different directions.
But that was the least of my concerns, what matters is who crossed the ground and fell a few meters away from us.
'What the hell? Wasn't he supposed to appear first and talk nonsense and then take the serum? Then why did Desmond already become Blockbuster?' - I thought surprised while looking at Blockbuster.
"What the hell? Was there someone like that here?" - Kid Flash asked while looking at Blockbuster.
"No, there wasn't" - The one who answered was Guardian and then Dubblilex spoke. - "It can't be... Doctor Desmond is that you?"
"YoU WOn'T gEt OUut Of HERe!!... (Roar!)." - then after speaking with difficulty and roaring Blockbuster pushed himself towards us and imagine my surprise when the place he went to was right in the direction where I was.
I was ready to dodge him, but Blockbuster froze in the air a few meters away and it seemed strange to me so I looked back and saw Dubblilex's horns glowing red while he had his hand raised and trembled.
"I don't think I can hold it for long" - Dubblilex commented while little by little he began to shake quite a lot.
Understanding, I pushed myself forward with force since I knew I was the only one who could do something to Blockbuster.
In no time I was on top of Blockbuster and hit him with all the power I had.
*Thud!*
Blockbuster then shot backwards with greater speed than he had come.
'I didn't know he would be so strong...' - I thought while looking at my fist, but then dubblilex spoke.
"Ha... Ha... I don't think I can hold him and push him like that again even with help" - I looked and saw that dubblilex had fallen to his knees while breathing raggedly as if he had gone through an intense exercise.
'Ok, so I'm not that strong...' - I felt somewhat embarrassed, fortunately I hadn't said it out loud.
"Don't worry, we'll take care of him." - Aqualad commented as he moved to stand next to me.
"Yes, leave it to us." - Kid Flash supported as he also walked forward.
Robin and Guardian also moved.
So we were in a kind of 5 formation with me in front, Aqualad and Robin by my side and Kid Flash and Guardian behind.
I saw that Blockbuster had gotten up and was looking at us or rather he was looking at me with a look of hate.
Blockbuster then roared again and started running and next to him we all started running too.
Kid Flash went ahead and somehow we ended up attacking like in the original, Aqualad and I pushed forward to hit Blockbuster and Kid Flash got behind to make him fall.
And finally, as in the original, he ended up falling to the ground thanks to kid flash.
But this time I didn't let Robin attack and instead I jumped forward and when I fell I hit him in the face several times, but then he moved and with his not so small hand grabbed my shirt, inverting the positions and now it was me who was on the floor and he was on top, even if it sounds bad.
Then he raised his left arm to hit me, I was already moving my hands to cover myself, but then a water whip wrapped around Blockbuster's arm preventing him from moving momentarily.
Then I could hear how Robin threw one of his explosive gadgets that exploded on Blockbuster's back... It's not like they did anything to him and finally Guardian appeared behind Blockbuster and put some kind of aerosol in his mouth that ended up exploding.
It was a very strong type of pepper spray... I was also somewhat affected, but fortunately I had held my breath after seeing what Guardian was going to do.
Blockbuster on the other hand was not so lucky and breathed in all the gas, but that did not prevent him from grabbing Guardian with his arm and throwing him like a rag doll to one side, then after doing that he got up while moving his head now completely affected by the gas.
I took the opportunity to do a backflip while I was still on the ground, then I propelled myself forward while I stood up and joined my hands to hit Blockbuster with an upward hammer blow that was still suffering from the gas.
Then I hit him on the chin and when I was going to do a downward hammer blow, Blockbuster decided it was the perfect time to react and then he moved and again his hand grabbed me by the shirt and took me to one of the building's columns.
I hit my back against the column and while I was preparing to protect myself and try to get Blockbuster off of me I managed to hear.
"Listen, I have a plan" - from Robin and I saw out of the corner of my eye while I protected myself from Blockbuster's attack that the 4 of them were together while looking at the holographic screen that showed the columns of the building.
'Oh no, I don't want a building to fall on me, that's for sure...' - I thought and while I blocked again with difficulty another blow from Blockbuster and I wished to be stronger, remembering the ability that I had obtained when I transmigrated.
I wished with all my strength that the ability would activate.
Then under Blockbuster's hateful look that quickly turned into a look of disbelief and astonishment, I felt my muscle mass and body increase, I could hear my suit stretching and some seams breaking.
Then taking advantage of his astonishment, I raised my arm to hit him, but my fist then emanated a somewhat intense red energy.
That surprised me and seemed to surprise Blockbuster even more, but I decided not to waste this opportunity and hit Blockbuster in the face.
*Crash!!*
Needless to say, he flew very hard towards one of the columns and crashed hard into it almost passing through it, but finally fell to the ground looking stunned, and all while I fell to the ground surprised by what just happened.
Not only me, I noticed that the heroes had practically gone silent and stopped doing what they were doing while looking at me, I could also hear Dubblilex mutter in amazement. - "brother..."
For my part, I looked at my hand that still kept emanating the red energy and then looked at Blockbuster who was getting up while helping himself with the column.
'Ok, now I'm stronger than I thought I would be...' - I thought as I prepared for the second round against Blockbuster.

I had planned to write this chapter on Monday and upload it on Tuesday, but on Monday I spent the whole day imagining another ff, I practically only slept 2 hours just because I couldn't stop thinking about the ff, its story and what animes I would put on.
In the end I had to write it and on Tuesday I wrote 2 complete chapters, after I looked for practically all the mangas that would form the world and thought about how to implement them.
So it was only today that I could think about writing this chapter, after having managed to write the chapter of my other ff.
