章節 14: Corbett?
After buying the daggers Ryan left town as he went back to the forest to hunt beast's, but mostly because he had wanted to get used to his new weapon.
Along the way Ryan had been getting the feeling that he was being followed but he still did not want to scare the person so he kept to himself going through all the way until he was stopped by a masked person wearing black clothing.
"Max is that you?" Ryan asked looking at the figure as it looked to have disappeared, Ryan jumped back in anticipation of what the person had wanted to do and he was right, he had fast reflexes and seemed to be even more skilled and powerful than Max.
Ryan knew that this was not a fight he could win and he was sure but he was not going to go down without taking a fight.
'damn this guy is fast as hell' Ryan thought as he ran forward slashing his dagger at the masked person but the person had dogged as he kicked Ryan in the gut making him hit a near tree 'this guy is definitely a vampire' he stood up but was punched in the face and kicked on his ribs making him cough out blood.
"if you are this weak you are nowhere near to win the upcoming battles" the masked person said, although having not heard this voice in a long time Ryan still knew the voice as the person moved to Ryan, in a flash he jumped back Ryan knew if they fought head on he would not get anywhere so he went in running in the forest.
The masked person just followed and went deep with him searching for Ryan, bringing out his sword out of it's hilt,he slashed at the trees near by as they fell down, but Ryan did not seem to be hiding near any of the tree, just then the masked was slashed almost cracking it Ryan had jumped back at a great distance coming towards the masked he was ready to fight again.
when Ryan went in the forest, he went to hide on a tree,he had used the sane thing Nathan had used but he had focused the mana around his body and added an element on top of it making him, create a new technique 'elemental aura'.
Ryan felt his body more lighter as he used wind element making wind aura, he wanted to test out just how useful this new found experiment may be.
Charging toward Ryan moved to the right side of the masked person but the masked seemed to keep up with him,he then moved his leg in for a kick but it was stopped just then the masked was pushed back away hitting a tree.
The truth was Ryan was not really going for a kick but a punch he used his leg as a distraction and it seemed to do somewhat damage.
"yes that is the spirit of a vampire king" the masked said while he brought out his sword, he then ran at a great speed upon reaching he kicked Ryan to the floor before kicking his gut, Ryan was pushed back and was roughly injured but he still managed to stand up in fact if it weren't for this elemental aura he could have died long ago.
Ryan was getting beaten and beaten, his injuries had healed due to him being a vampire but the punches kept coming,"are you not the vampire king or am i mistaken" the masked said before standing in a position looking at Ryan,'yes i am the past vampire king, my pride is my life' Ryan thought he then stood up punching the masked with his remaining strength his mana seemed to have finished before he blacked out.
As light was coming back to his eyes, Ryan who had expected to be kill was alive and well but what was shocking was that he was still there and so was the masked person,the mask seemed to have broken "what Corbett is that you" Ryan said looking at his past close brother,"hmm it seems you are back my Lord, i will be taking my leave now be careful my Lord."
Corbett said before he was no longer in sight,'damn i can't use my body did i over use my Mana shit i don't think i can handle this'
he then fell flat closing his eyes before he knew it he had fallen asleep.
Waking up he still felt his body a little tired from the fight since he had used up all his mana, right now he would lose any fight with almost anyone because of that fight,'but what really happened i could have sworn that i had blacked out','yeah you did' hearing this Ryan thought he must have been crazy as he was now hearing things.
'wait there is only one possibility and that is the demon inside Nathan' Ryan thought,'bingo you really are smart huh' Ryan had thought that absorbing the dark energy inside Nathan would make the demon weak and that his consiousness would fade but he did not know that he had also absorbed the demon.
'wait i do not really understand why help me and what are demons because i had only heard of them in myths' Ryan asked the consiousness inside him 'first of all call me Tigroran and i am a demon, we demons have 3 major clans, the clan i come from has the ability of dark magic,close range combat,and the most common is flame magic but our flames are not red or blue it's is black our flames can also rank us as red the least blue second and black first,we could be called gifted because we are but our clan members are meant to be of use to the demon lord and currently most of our clan members had been wiped out.'
'even still the demon king does not intend to stop and every now and then he would assign is to capture vampire but we do not really know why' Tigroran said, while Ryan thought about it he then asked 'what is the name of your king?' Tigroran paused a bit long before answering his question 'Xavier dorgan'
when Ryan heard this name he was in a shock as he could not processed what he had heard for some reason.
'do you know the demon lord?' Tigroran asked Ryan who was still in a state of shock 'of course i don't' Ryan replied having got up from bed he went downstairs he then paid the receptionist at the counter before going out and was going to the Traven where Hael had taken him to he had wanted to ask Hael a about Nathan but he did not find Hael at the Traven.
He had decided to take a walk around town but he then heard some people talking about Nathan being transferred to Asisha kingdom, he went forward to them asking them where Nathan currently was and where the prison he was held at is, they had told him that he would be transferred soon and where the prison currently was he had ran on the roads passing everyone he had ran for a long time before stopping in what looked like the prison he then went a little back standing in front of a shop he stood there as he watched some people who looked like they were knights from Asisha kingdom take Nathan and he could guess they were heading outside town.
Ryan had followed them cautiously until they had reached the exit, they had only five people guarding they seemed not to think that Nathan would be as strong as he was so they had cut him some slack by assigning only five people.
Ryan who had been following them then noticed that something was awfully wrong as they seemed to be looking at their surrounding's before looking at distant trees as they walked,'is this a trap' Ryan thought 'it look like it certainly, is even though Nathan had been claimed to have lost his powers the superiors should know better than underestimate him' Tigroran replied, Ryan was scared looking around at who had answered him,he them remembered he had a demon in his body.
Checking where they had been looking Ryan had noticed something Archer's where following the group ahead, 'so they had planned this huh' Ryan thought as he then rushed forward silently while he grabbed the head of the Archer he twisted it and he was dead taking the bow of the Archer Ryan then held it out he then added the attribute of wind ' ah it can handle elemental abilities' he then watched the group of people up front as they looked at a near tree on
the opposite side he then fired the arrow, he knew that the arrow had connected an would at least knock him out.
Going forward in an attempt to beat the team into submission as he was then interrupted by Tigroran,'please let me deal with that group' Tigroran pleaded, thinking about it he had wanted to see Tigroran skill and did not want him to feel like a prisoner.
As he then exchanged souls for the first time.
