章節 14: Chapter 14
Early in the morning , the duo woke up abruptly from the noises outside . Even when their house were far away from most of the villagers , they could still hear the indistinct noises created by them . After hurriedly washing up , both of them didn't bother to eat on the table anymore and just brought two sandwiches and a cup of coffee on each of their hands as they curiously headed to the crowd .
Rose had already joined the crowd peeking at the entertainment . Rose turned to look back and saw her brother and brother-in-law walking while holding their breakfast . Gab stared at the crowd then looked at Rose . " What's happening? "
Rose pointed at the crowd and reported. " I heard that a dispatched priest is going to arrive two days later to preach in the town . Many parents planned on sending us children to listen in order to learn morals and good conduct . "
Ryan who had already finished his breakfast handed Rose a cup of milk and three sandwiches. Rose gratefully recieved it and went to her friends to share two of her sandwiches . Gab looked at Ryan and asked . " Should we send Rose to the small temple in the town too? "
Ryan nodded in agreement. " Although the church is too conservative , they teach quite well . It's also good to let Rose learn more from the church and broaden her sight . "
Gab look away and thought to himself that he would rather teach Rose himself than let other people who he didn't know teach Rose .
Ryan and Gab interacted with the villagers for a while before returning to home and started ploughing their land . Gab's physique had increased in quality and his stamina had increased , he last longer than before before he gets tired . Surprisingly , Ryan didn't stop even one second . He was like a strong ox that wouldn't easily get tired . Even if he was already used to it and was a farmer , no ordinary man could posses such good stamina .
Gab went to organize the poultry and started arranging the hens back to their small houses . When he finished feeding the chickens and hens , he went to the ox pen and also feed them. Gab had already grown to like his current lifestyle , and he even wished to live like this forever.
While the couple was busy on their jobs , Rose suddenly came back covered with mud and bruises . Rose walked to her brother with watery eyes and ragged breathing as if she was holding back to cry .
Gab who was busy on collecting manures had his eyes widen in anger as he stared intensely at Rose's messy appearance .
The bucket im his hands dropped to ground making Rose flinch from surprise . Rose's lips trembled and bust out . She started crying and spread her arms demanding a comfort hug . " Wuwuwu , brother! Someone bullied me . "
Gab didn't say anything probably from him restraining his anger and carried the crying baby . He swayed his body and patted her body .
Who did this to his baby?!!! Rose is damned still a toddler!!!!
Gab's face turned more dark and terrifying the more Rose cried pitifully . His possessive trait activated and immediately handed Rose to Ryan. " Pacify her , i will go do something. "
Ryan who was suddenly stuffed with a crying toddler was stunned and watched dazedly as his wife exited the fate with a dark face.
That face ... It looks so terrifying . It was as if he was going to explode and start a slaughter right there.
Ryan immediately put the toddler on his lap and wiped the little Rose's wet cheekbones and pacified her.

Not too far away from the small family house a crowd of parents and children could be seen crowding each other as they began cursing towards the parents of the children that hurt their own child.
One mother was particularly loud pointing her index finger to the thin bodied mother who looked weak and timid as she loudly humiliated them with the the villagers watching them from the sidelines.
" Mrs . Rosalinda , it was clearly your child that started this child . "
Rosalinda who is a chubby woman with a villainous kind of face screamed back . " It was that child who is the sister of a sinful man who married the same sex was at fault . My son said that that girl named Rose mocked my son for being chubby and vulgar. How dare that girl say that to my child? That girl who doesn't even have a mother to educate her? ."
" And also , you lowly people even dared to fight my son? It was good already that you have i kilograms of meat to eat every week . I've been good to you as always and now because of that girl's presence your children began to grow egos and confront my child? You're nothing but bums!! "
The parents of the other side immediately retorted. " Mrs. Rosalinda , your words are nothing but hurtful the ears of the children. Now that we witnessed how you look down on our children we could understand how that arrogant child of yours inherited his personality!!! "
The children who had just finished fighting just now immediately disturbed their parents and showed them the bruises on their knees with pouting mouth and puppy eyes looking so pitiful and weak .
However , because of this , the parents started talking out loud how pitiful their child was and even deliberately ignited the angers of their opponents . Mrs. Rosalinda was the loudest one of them all , explaining to the audience how pitiful his son was and how her baby didn't experienced even just one pinch on his skin yet some lowly people dared to touch the skin of her baby .
While Mrs. Rosalinda was babbling lies after lies . She suddenly paused and felt danger coming nearer . Mrs. Rosalinda looked around but saw no one . Then mysteriously , a piece of rock suddenly flew from nowhere and lunged into the Mrs. mouth making her unable to talk more .
One pebble hit the back of her bead . Rosalinda immediately spat out the pebble in her mouth and shouted . " Who?! Who dared to attack me?!!! "
The whole area suddenly silent and looked around . Before they could even say what was Rosalinda talking about , Rosalinda mysteriously fell into her knees without any reason . Then before they knew it , pebbles after pebbles started flying and hit Rosalinda's body without even straying towards the direction of the nearby parents . They watched dumbfounded as Rosalinda was attacked by a ghost in broad daylight .
" Oh my god , is this a punishment from God for her spouting hurtful words towards us? "
" God doesn't really show mercy towards evil people . "
" I heard that Rosalinda's son bullies the toddler named Rose . That child was sadly still a toddler and she was already bullied by a childish and arrogant 7 years old spoiled child . "
" I even saw that chubby boy pushing Rose to a big rock causing the toddler to get bruises. "
" The child even hurt her ankle because of it. "
" Such evil child coming from an evil mom . "
" We should educate our children more carefully less they grow into such a monster. "
Most villagers value reputation , because only with good reputation would a family let their daughters to be wedded for their son .
While they were chatting busily with each other . No one noticed that a vine grew from the soil below Rosalinda and quietly snatched the woman's money sachet .
" First Warning , for hurting the people under my costudy . "
Gab doesn't want to expose himself lest Rosalinda will barge into their house to disturb their life. Since he got the ability to strike at back , he wouldn't bother showing himself just to warn a small person .
In his eyes , he could easily crush that Rosalinda's family into poverty where they wouldn't spout lofty words towards the villagers anymore . They might be rich land owners just like his husband , but he could easily destroy their possessions with just one thought.
Sucking the vitality of the soil with his wood ability is an easy feat for him , especially when cultivating his wood elemental ability . There is still an unvented anger within his heart but couldn't be too ruthless .
Instead ... He'll let Rose take revenge against them herself .
" Let's cultivate that girl and teach her self defense skills . "
Gab's murderous eyes lingered upon Rosalinda's body for a while , before his emotions immediately retreated into the depths of his heart .
He lifted one pebble and immediately flick it .

The little spoiled brat was suddenly hit on the cheeks by the pebble .

Gab coldly held the sachet of coins in his hand and went back to the house . When he arrived , he saw Rose waiting at the gate with her bruises already aided by Ryan .
Gab , wearing a distressed look knelt down in front of the toddler and hugged her tightly . " You've been wronged , Little Rose . "
Rose with red nose , sniffed then sensibly shook her head as she hugged back. " I'm fine now. "
" That's good to hear . " Gab let go then stuffed the sachet he snatched into her hand . " Save this to but sweet food when you go to the town two days later . "
Rose opened the sachet and saw copper coins inside and some handful of silvers . It was already too much for a child like her but she obediently kept it . She waited as she noticed that her brother has something to tell her .
Gab blinked then suddenly asked . " Rose ... Do you want to learn how to fight? "
Rose's hearing his words immediately stood straight and stared seriously at her brother . " What do you mean brother? "
Gab smiled then held Rose's small toddler hands . " I'll teach you how to fight . "
Rose's mind immediately started rolling as she recalled how her brother easily hunted a giant hawk before . Rose's eyes immediately sparkled in excitement . " Yes yes!!!! I want to learn so that i could defeat giant hawks in the future . "
Gab inavertently chuckled thinking to himself how Rose didn't even thought of getting revenge against the one who bullied her and instead aspired to be able to hunt animals in the forest .
Rose is really a good child .
( Good child my ass ... )
Ryan suddenly arrived and worriedly look at Gab . " Did you fight with them? Did you get hurt? "
Gab who was successfully grabbed by his husband got stunned . Then chuckled amusingly . " It---
Before he could even talk completely . A coquettish voice suddenly rang out from behind him .
" Ryan~ "
Gab's eyelids twitched and slowly moved his head to the side and moved his iris to the side and looked at the young woman standing behind him. The uneventful anger hidden within his heart suddenly started surging up again brewing with immense intent to behead someone .
Murderous eyes landed on the red haired man at his front and thought .
' respond to that girl and I shall kill someone tonight. '
The sensitive Ryan immediately noticed the dark look on his wife's face . Ever since that time when Rose went back with bruised body , he had been feeling secretly scared of his wife .
Who knew how such a young teenager in his 14-15 could have such heavy killing intent . Ryan looked at the woman at front and remembered that this was the supposed woman who was recommended to him when he arrived in this village , he doesn't have much possessions at that time and most farmers looked down on him , this girl ran away when he was recommended by him by some random matchmaker from the other neighborhood .
Ryan frowned ... This woman , why did she even visit her and even sowed discord between him and his wife using ambiguous calls .
" I don't know you , get lost . "
Ryan threw her an alienating look and wrapped his arm around his wife's waist before dragging him into the house. " Wife , are you sure that you didn't get injured ? "
Gab silently stared at his handsome husband and couldn't help looking back at the woman and showed her a childish lower eyelid tug and stick out his tongue in mockery.
The unidentified woman gasp in shock as she watched the former silent man suddenly showing such side without the notice of Ryan.
Gab turned to her again and secretly gave her a middle finger.
No one saw this scene except the mocked woman.
When they returned back to the house , they suddenly noticed a baby bear inside.
" ... " Gab
" How did it get here? "
Ryan " ... "
" Who's that? "
Rose : Waaaa! A baby bear!!!!!
