"Jeez, why is it so cold? Allen complained internally as he walked in, though he remained unaffected by its effect, shrugging it off due to his status as an awakened, with his resistance unnaturally high.

"What took you so long?" Eisha's voice cut through the air loudly, just before he closed the door. Allen sighed deeply as he turned around.

"Eisha, I got held at work and for that, I am truly sorry," Allen responded in the best way he knew how to apologize. After all, it was on rare occasions he ever did it, but he knew for now, he had to lower his head.

"Well, I know how much effort is needed to make this new job work, so no need for an apology," Eisha expressed as she walked towards Allen, her eyes entirely focused on the package.
