Leo got startled by the robotic voice but managed to quickly recover.
"Yeah, it's me. Who am I speaking to?"
"SIR NOAH WILL SOON BE HERE, PLEASE BE PATIENT FOR THE TIME BEING."
Leo's question got entirely voided, but he did not really care about it.
After waiting for a short while Leo heard a familiar voice.
"Ah Leo, I hope you have been doing well."
"Same goes to you, Noah. Now tell me for what reason did you want me to call you?"
"Straight to business, are we? My informant has located a sarkic outpost. Costed a lot of money to get information on it and the rest of your money has been used to arrange this phonecall."
Leo's heart skipped a beat upon hearing that Noah had information on a sarkic outpost.
"Tell me everything about it Noah."
"An eager one, aren't you? My informant told me that there is a minor sarkic outpost in Poland, Malbork to be exact. I will be going to Poland myself as well soon, so if you want to tag along give me a call. It really isn't that big but it is at least something."
"No, it's enough Noah. This has been a grand favor for me."
Noah's voice turned serious.
"Now, something else. Have you heard anything about that task force that is hunting you?"
"No, I haven't. Why are you asking?"
"Listen, I will be honest with you on this one. I have personally been looking into it as well, I was hoping to find something major and put you in debt with me so I could use you for another favor or something, I had multiple corrupt foundation agents look into information about you but weren't able to obtain anything major, agents ranging from level one to three have looked into it and only one agent of level three was able to return something of relevance, and pretty much everything he reported we already knew."
"So, what are you trying to say with this Noah?"
"Quite simple, as you may have known the target you killed in Belarus was a member of the intelligence agency. Most of them have access to very restricted information, the fact that he had access to your information and took interest in it poses a grand problem, there are a couple of possibilities. The first one is that you pissed off a high rank and that they issued orders to capture you, secondly, there is a chance that you just caused too much chaos in general and lastly and least likely there is the chance that an overseer is controlling your planned capture."
Silence remained for a while before a sigh could be heard by Leo.
"This is all such a fucking pain."
"I know, but there is nothing we can do about it. You know, if you join my Kozlov family an-"
"No Noah, I won't. You know that I already hate being bound to MC&D, unless they directly sell me to you and I have no choice I won't join your family."
Noah sighed.
"I actually tried proposing a tempting offer but it got rejected almost instantly."
"Heh, expected nothing less to happen. When will you be departing to Poland exactly?"
"Hard to say, probably within this week actually."
"It's already tuesday though."
"Yeah, I know. Really depends on when my client responds, I can probably tell you for sure in a day or so."
"Alright, I will be going for now. The sun is coming up."
"Alright, talk to you later"
Leo hung up on Noah and headed back towards HQ with a smile on his face.
After a long while he had finally gotten some meaningful information on sarkicism, he expected to get the information much quicker.
If Sogrith's information was correct then this would result in an explanation on his sub-class, Leo was not sure if he could use it but even if he could he didn't want to try it without some proper information on it unless it was an extremely dire situation. The reasoning for this was simple.
After the visions Leo saw upon getting his subclass he was quite disturbed. If his powers were anything like what he saw and he lost control of it his life would most likely be over, even if he managed to recover himself he would be hunted around the globe after such a display."
Leo was still in thought when he arrived back at HQ.
He quickly headed towards the front desk and approached a receptionist.
"I would like a meeting with miss Iris dark, please."
