"Indeed master..indeed.."
Ye Gu reached out to grab Nu Wan's bags when Ling Xiaoting grabbed his hand.
"Ye Gu if she were my bride you oath to take her bags but this lady turned out to be my prisoner and what do we do to prisoners?.."
"..."
Ye Gu looked at Nu Wan did she really say she wanted to be a prisoner.
"Miss if I may ask, you do know how we dragons treat out prisoners. The master has told you right?"
Nu Wan nodded she knew they didn't treat their prisoners right but it was like that everywhere.
"I'm aware..."
"And you agreed!!"
Nu Wan nodded, Ye Gu looked at Ling Xiaoting with a sigh. The things he had done for this man!
"Follow me..then.."
Ye Gu grabbed Ling Xiaoting's shoulder and whispered into his ears.
"She wouldn't last a day in there!"
"I know that, that's why we're going to put her in the third level. It's the safest at the moment, the first and second level would ruin her mental health.."
Ye Gu nodded and turned to smile at Nu Wan. She would only be able to last a day in there before she begged to be released.
"I'll take her bags and you can show her the way.."
Ye Gu nodded and asked her to follow him. Nu Wan gulped and nodded, she wasn't that scared in the beginning but after seeing Ye Gu's reaction she was having second thoughts.
"Is it really that scary?"
"Miss you'll see things that would make you question your whole existence. You wouldn't be able to sleep for days. It's not somewhere a delicate woman like you should be.."
Nu Wan sighed if she wasn't his prisoner then she was his bride. She didn't want to get involved with Ling Xiaoting or the supernatural forces here.
"I don't want to be his bride.."
Ye Gu smiled she was certainly a different breed of women. Others would jump at the thought of being the master's bride, this woman didn't mind being his prisoner.
"Will I die in there?"
"Oh no....the master won't let you die, you're way too important!"
Nu Wan pursed her lips, that was what scared her the most that unless she wasn't useful to Ling Xiaoting anymore he wouldn't let her go.
"What was the first Nu Wan like?"
Ye Gu gave Nu Wan a look, he didn't know he only heard about her. He and the rest of the dragons with Ling Xiaoting were created after the death of the goddess.
"I heard she was kind and loving to the humans and also to us dragons and the gods. But you see the master is a black dragon, they don't like anything "nice" and also because she was the love interest of his three brothers.."
"...."
"Errr!!!"
"The white dragon is the oldest, followed by the green, the third is the master and the fourth is the blue dragon. The master absolutely disliked the goddess for some reason. We all know her death brought him much satisfaction."
Nu Wan shuddered was she that amazing to attract Ling Xiaoting's hate and his three brothers love.
"They must be hate him now... don't they?"
"Master Qing and Master Jin Yue love their brother way too much to hate him but the oldest Master Bai, dislikes him throughly..they're at each other throats whenever they meet."
Nu Wan nodded slowly, the master Qing and master Jin Yue were the green and blue dragon and master bai was the white.
"Do they come down to meet him?"
Ye Gu nodded though they're not permitted to stay on earth, they're still able to visit for a specific period of time.
"Master Jin Yue comes often, he and the master were born around the same time so they're very close.."
Nu Wan nodded she guessed as terrible as the black dragon may be he still has people that care about him.
"Here we are miss.." Ye Gu smiled and turned to Nu Wan, if she's really the reincarnation of the goddess then she'll be able to survive it.
One way or the other.
"Just go through the door and good luck.."
She pushed open the door which was surprisingly heavy and ornate.
A musty smell wafting out, mingling with the scent of decay. The air inside was thick and heavy, like a physical presence that clung to her skin.
As she stepped into the room, the door creaked shut behind her, and she heard the sound of rusty hinges and scraping metal. The room was dimly lit, the walls lined with ancient, dusty tapestries that seemed to absorb the faint light that filtered through the small, barred windows.
What part of the house is it? Like a small dungeon? She muttered to herself.
The room was a labyrinth of twisted corridors, with cells lining the walls like a prison. But these cells weren't for human prisoners - they were for creatures that defied human explanation.
Nu Wan shuddered slightly when she saw the creatures in the cells, they're were as terrifying as they were ugly!
She wandered deeper into the room, her footsteps echoing off the walls. The air grew colder, the shadows seeming to twist and writhe around her like living things.
And then, the whispers began. Faint at first, but they grew louder with each step, until they were a constant, maddening presence in her ears.
"Welcome, little one... so innocent, so pure... "
She spun around, but there was no one there. The voices seemed to come from all around her, echoing off the walls.
Nu Wan stopped at the middle of the hallway staring at a particular cell that had caught her attention.
The cell was shrouded in darkness, the walls seeming to absorb the light. As she approached it slowly, the air around her grew colder and the whispers grew even louder .
"You should not be here... this is a place for the damned. Did the black dragon place you here?... " The creature chuckled lowly.
