Poorly translated with wuxia-like jargons. I'm only adding 5 stars to balance the reviews out and because I'm not that particular about grammar. I care more about the author's ability to tell their story, and the author of this fanfic does a good job with that, imo. It starts kicking off at around 200 chapters when the canon timeline begins. By then, the characters and MC's background is already fleshed out and the initial part feels more like a prologue, making the pay-off and start of Luffy's journey 100x better. than 99% of One Piece fanfics. The MC joins Luffy, not as a stranger but as someone who is deeply ingrained in the One Piece world, due to him existing years before the timeline starts. By the time Luffy sets sail, the MC already has a reputation as well as connections with the various canon characters, making the small tweaks in canon events along their journey something to look forward to.

As much as i like reading Chinese novel im starting to hate their translation as they usual use phrase like "You're courting death!” Ive grown sick of it Anyway bad grammar if you dont have the ability to switch off brain while reading you can try

Should really work on those translations. It feels like you just use mtl.atleast do the homework of checking for grammar error and wrong spellings and not just copy paste and post it here directly
the idea of the story is Great and refreshing but the translation is so bad that it's unbarebel for me to read More then 2 chapter's he basically just copied and pasted the story from a translation app without checking any gramer
Started off great, eventually became a copy and paste of the original whilst trying it’s hardest to make the MC relevant. The same Arcs happen whilst keeping the same drama, they start the same and pretty much end the same. Like I said, only minor changes to include the MC (who becomes useless). It’s a real shame to be honest, I liked it in the beginning as it started way before canon and took a different route. I understand that he was always going to join the Strawhats but I thought it would have retained some of it’s originality.

A really really great story!!! There's not much One Piece story where MC became a great marine (admiral) first then later became Luffy vice/deputy captain... I love how Lin Tian not became strong suddenly (became OP), he need many years until he can fight with many strong people like Whitebeards, Rayleigh, Shanks, 3 Admirals, etc.. I love how he became Garp disciple and have his own moral (killing a bad pirates and realese a good pirates/not kill innocents), he even kill the World Nobles to avenge his bestfriends 👍👍 I also like how he have a brotherhood bonds with Luffy and Ace.. He also have good relationship with his peers in marine... I don't mind Lin Tian have many interest, but I hope it's not become a harem.. Just make him with Carly/Ain or Hancock, or even Ai Siqi or Nami, not all of them 😁😁😁 Can't wait to see next chapter.. Keep up the good job author san 👍👍👍😍😍😁😁
Awful translation. If Garp is written as “Karp” every single time then there is no point in reading this lol the translater is lazy if these obvious mistakes are there
