The group managed to safely arrive at their destination, the capital city of Xing Luo Kingdom. Teacher Wang Yan took the students to their luxurious Royal Suite hotel rooms at Star King hotel. Everyone was excited about their stay at this grand place.
"Waa!"
"So Luxurious! This is our hotel room. So amazing!"
Wang Dong and Sanshi were the first ones to dash towards the gorgeous red couch and bed. Nan nan was inspecting the porcelain vase. Xiao xiao was admiring the magnificent view from their window while Cai tou was checking out the room's toilet.
Yuhao: "Brother Yin, isn't there something wrong with the current atmosphere."
Shen Yin: "....Maybe."
Bei Bei: "Let's go everyone. Teacher Wang Yan wants us to meet up at the conference room. After tomorrow's opening ceremony. It will be the first match of the tournament. Our senior are unable to participate right now nor did back-up from school arrive. For now, it will be just the 8 of us."
All at once, everyone snapped back to reality.
Sanshi: "Waa!! No! The responsibility is too heavy!!! We can't run away from it!"
Wang Dong: "If it comes, it will come. There's no running away."
Yuhao: "Looks like everyone was really pretending to run away."
Shen Yin: *nods head
Bei bei: "Okay, let's go. Teacher Wang Yan is waiting for us.
Shrek Academy's Conference room
Teacher Wang Yan: "Eh, why is everyone so down? You don't have to be so nervous. We are going to have our first battle after the introduction ceremony. Relax a bit." Teacher Wang Yan attempt to lighten up the mood. "Don't forget. We, Shrek Academy, is one of the best in the world. You are all elites of Shrek Academy. Did you think other schools are like ours? Your opponents are weaker than you think. Look back at your strength and the training, you've done. The ones who should be nervous are your opponents."
Shen Yin: "I also agree. You guys shouldn't be underestimating your power. You will do just fine going against the other teams."
After some convincing and persuading, he manages to ease up the tension of the back-up team. Shen Yin's words were boosting up their confidence.
Teacher Wang Yan: "Let me show you guys the rules of the tournament. To test the strength of each school, there are lots of rules and conditions. The tournament will be split into 2 parts with their own set of rules. We will talk more depth into it before we head to battle."
Everyone except Shen Yin left with the weight lifted from their shoulders. Shen Yin closes the door and turns around to stare at the still smiling teacher.
Shen Yin: "Teacher Wang Yan, you don't have to out up that pretense in front of me."
Teacher Wang Yan: "Waaaa! I manage to keep it up. Aside from Student Shen Yin, they didn't see how nervous I was, did they?"
Shen Yin: " I don't think so. Some of them may have doubts but I think it will be alright. I must applaud you for your effort and acting."
Teacher Wang Yan: "I had no choice. I wanted to lower their stress. If I hadn't done this, they would be demoralized for tomorrow's battle. How many days do you need to recover?"
Luo Chen: "My injuries are the lightest. I need 15 days."
Ma Xiao tao: "If I put all my effort, I need 17 days."
Dai Yao heng: "I need 20 days."
Wang Yan: "Shen Yin, if you use your ability, how long would it take for you to heal them? Of course, you shouldn't use it too much if it will affect your performance in battle. You also must not push yourself. We can't afford for you to have you hurt yourself because we don;t know when we we will need you to fight. At this moment, you are most likely the most powerful member we have available that can fight."
Shen Yin had already checked each and every one of their injuries as well as the poison remaining in their bodies earlier with his Divine Eye.
Shen Yin: "Poison is not easy to remove and their wounds are no simple matter. According to my estimations, Senior Ling will be fine in 8 to 10 days maybe earlier if I focus hard enough. For Senior Ma, it is 12 to 14 while Senior Dai's will take up 15 days at least."
Teacher Wang Yan: "Then, you should prioritize healing Ling Luo Chen first."
Shen Yin: "Ok."
Ling Luo Chen's ears perked a bit after hearing that. In her head, she was thinking : 'Wah! So good!!! I get to monopolize this handsome junior all to myself for at least 8 days!!! Even though I can't participate in the tournament temporarily, I can spend my time with this potential boyfriend!!! This is fortune emerging from within disaster.'
Teacher Wang Yan: "Wa!!! Then we will have to hold the fort until the fourth match at least. Without back-up, will they be able to pull this off? We can only hope that they win the first match. If we lost our first match, it will be so shameful!!"
Dai Yao Cheng: "Even so, you are actually handling this situation relatively well. You must be feeling the most pressure since you are representing Shrek Academy as a part of the main team."
Shen Yin: "I'm used to pressure and stress. It will be weird if I, who was called here with so much effort, panics. Besides, stressing myself out and increasing the tension won't help the team nor will it improve the problem at hand. I don't want to add on the burden."
Ma Xiao Tao: "Wah, you're very mature for your age. Your parents must have raised you well."
Those words struck a chord at Shen Yin's heart but he nodded nevertheless. Later on, Shen Yin left with the three seniors to their rooms and began their healing process. He decided he would let them take turns to be healed, though as instructed, he is to focus of Ling Luo Chen whose injuries were lighter among the three of them.

The tournament started off with the King of Xing Luo Kingdom making the announcement. Loads of people filled up the seats in the titanic stadium, cheering out loud for the school they like.
" The World Spirit School Tournament is the biggest event in the entire continent. I represent the Xing Lou Kingdom, welcome each teams from each school. I hope you will perform well, especially the ones who will come up the stage now. Number one school of the continent with big aspirations for the Championships, Team Shrek Academy. We look forward to your performance."
The audience's cheers became louder and louder upon hearing that name of the renowned school. The several teams from other schools shrunk back in fear at the thought of going against them. Yuhao and the others finally understood the words Xuan Lao gave them before. Glory belong to them because they are Shrek Academy. They all determined themselves to protect that glory.
After that, it was decided that Shrek Academy will be fighting a team battle with Ting Ling Advance Spirit School. The backup team of Shrek will be going up while Shen Yin will stay behind since it is a 7 vs 7 battle.
Teacher Wang Yan: "The rest is up to you. I believe in you guys."
Ma Xiao Tao: "Relax, our opponents are nervous to face us! Take out your courage and strength. Go!"
Dai Yao Heng: "Go with pride. Let everyone know how strong Shrek Academy is!"
The seniors and teacher gave words of encouragement to the group while Shen Yin, who already knew the outcome to this battle, was silent. Even without his memories of the plot, he had already long known about the power of these individuals. Their growth was no joke.
Bei bei : "Everyone, this is a battle we must win. We will win with grace. We will perform what is expected from Shrek Academy." He took the initiative to up their confidence before they strode up the fighting platform for their first match.
Once the match started, Yuhao was the one to step up as the rest stood behind him.
Yuhao: "Pitiful ants...Tremble."
At that second, crimson light filled the entire arena. Killing intent and anger could be felt from miles away. Six crimson rings were displayed around the boy. They were bright enough for everyone to see. The entire place stood in shock at this.
Yuhao: "It was unlucky for you to face off against Shrek Academy. I will not hold back."
In front of this overwhelming revelation, the other school went into panic. They weren't prepared for this after all. All of them backed up into a corner like a prey facing a predator, unable to escape. Not knowing what actions should they take. Without anyone noticing, Yuhao unleashed his 4th spirit ability, Mental Disturbance.
From their opponent's perspective, Yuhao with his six crimson rings was suddenly in front of them like a ghost or a devil. They were furtherly frightened as the distance they had in between, which was their only safety assurance, was gone. That scare forcefully lowered their mental state even more. Out of a blue, a golden light exploded.
The light was from Yuhao and Wang Dong's fusion ability. In an instant, most of the combatants were turned into golden statues. Only two managed to survive tanks to their defence spirit weapon. The two fighters looked up at Yuhao again to see another guy floating right next to him. It was Wang Dong with 6 rings, signalizing another Spirit King.
Yuhao: "It's already over."
The two opponents fled the platform, not wanting to even try.
Yuhao: "Remember, I come from Shrek Academy. I come from Tang Clan." Yuhao announces his association with the legendary clan that was lost to time.
Everyone in the audience shouted out the names in excitement. This was the exhilaration and overwhelming power they were anticipating from the greatest school on the land.
The group went down the stage and were heading back to their rooms.
Teacher Wang Yan: "That was too brutal."
Yuhao: "I was already holding back. I only sealed their spirit essence, otherwise they wouldn't have admit defeat. I can't promise they would leave the arena alive."
Teacher Wang Yan: "Do you want to stay back to watch the other matches?"
Yuhao: "Hmph, what is there to see. Let's go back."
Once again the crowd went wild at Yuhao's arrogance and confidence. What they didn't know then was that once they reached their rooms, the two boys (Yuhao and Wang Dong) collapsed. Shen Yin, who was conveniently behind them, manage to catch them both before they fell to the ground.
Xiao Xiao: "Yuhao! Wang Dong!"
Shen Yin: "It's ok. They are just exhausted from using most of their spirit energy so suddenly. They just need sleep."
Both of them were placed on the same bed so they may rest and recover.
Dai Yao Heng: "Their spirit fusion ability today is much stronger than before. They must've done everything they could, even to the point of using a special move."
Teacher Wang Yan: "No matter the method, I must say this is the quickest win Shrek has had in the tournament."
Bei Bei: "Yes! Even I didn't think it would be so simple. the crowd was so into it. Now, no one will be suspicious of Shrek's strength."
Teacher Wang Yan: "*bows* You have succeeded. You were able to protect Shrek's glory. This victory means a lot to the school. On behalf of the school, I thank you all."
Bei bei: "Teacher Wang Yan, we will do everything we can. Before others arrive and the seniors recover, we will do our absolute best in each match."
At Moonlight Royal Soul Weapon Academy's Personal Conference room....
"Today, Shrek Academy's opening tournament was shocking. Everyone is talking about it. So annoying."
"In the first match, they send out reserves. As expected of our rival, our first match needs to be shocking as well."
A dark red haired bearded man spoke up, "Good! You have all experienced it. This is Shrek Academy. Our biggest obstacles in the tournament. Today, the only have 11 members in their team, and today only the reserves have appeared in battle. Ma Ru Long! If you lose this line up, you will leave as captain of Ming De Tang."
Ma Ru Long: "Yes! We will be champions. But that kid from Shrek Academy isn't easy. He has six 100,000 year old rings?! Could he be the ace of the team?"
???: "They must be fake."
Ma Ru Long: "What did you say? Xiao Hong Chen! Pay more attention to him! He may be a reserve member but he might be a match against you."
Xiao Hong Chen: "Big brother Ma, you have made a mistake. I, Xiao Hong Chen, am a match for myself."
Ma Ru Long: "You!! Xiao Hong Chen! Don't you think..."
Elder Ma (aka bearded man) : "Enough."
Ma Ru Long: "Yes, father!"
Elder Ma: "Next, I will announce the participants of the next battle."
At Sea God pavilion...
Mu Lao: "Not bad. First time participating in a tournament, these kids are something."
Yan Shao Zhe (Headmaster): "But they are still young. I heard from Xuan Lao that Student Shen Yin have been sent there as support but that is still not enough. He may be a special case and an extremely rare genius Shrek has had in years but he is also still a child. If they want to claim Championships, that's a little.....I will organize some reinforcement."
Mu Lao: "No need to send support to them."
Yan Shao Zhe: "This...Mu Lao!! This involves the honor of our school!"
Mu Lao: "Honor? From my perspective, the future of these children is more important. They may be the strongest backup team in Shrek's History. Let them experience this. They may be the next generation of Shrek Academy."
