章節 223: Despicable Thought

Evan was confused why his father-in-law suddenly asked about the apartment.

"Yes. We have a house at Starlight Apartment, five minutes drive from here." Evan said. 

"That's perfect. You guys don't need to stay here. This place is not comfortable…." Nicholas wanted to say, not comfortable for a newlywed like them, but he held his words. "But, for tonight, it's ok to stay here. This is almost midnight. You guys can continue to sleep…."

Evan felt delighted hearing his father-in-law's words. He wanted to ask his wife to sleep in their apartment because it was close to the hospital, so they could come here anytime if something happened. But he didn't have the heart to ask her. His wife wanted to accompany her mother even though she was not yet awake.

"Yes, father, we will stay here tonight."
