Mrs. Huo interjected and said, "That is enough, Ning Yu. Such an attitude will not be tolerated." Ning Yu immediately retorted, "But, Mrs. Huo, Xiao Mei started it first. Why didn't you say anything to her?" The class burst into murmurs.

Li Na spoke up, addressing Mrs. Huo, "If you intend to reprimand anyone, it would be fair to start with Xiao Mei, who looked down on her fellow classmate for speaking the truth. After all, don't you always preach about fairness? Anyway, if you choose not to, we will gladly follow in your footsteps of unfairness." 

Li Na stood her ground. "Are you scared of doing the right thing, Mrs. Huo, because of her background?" she questioned. "I've noticed something. This school has a pattern of treating students unfairly based on their background." 

Mrs. Huo, feeling defensive, responded, "How can you say such a thing?"
