Elian looked at the technician sent to the royal tribune. He came earlier, to make sure everything would be set. Now that he decided to let Kian live, he had to change his plan.

Elian had to choose who he would let live, between Cayus and Serena. He decided to kill Cayus with the black scorpion, so Serena will be easier to control. Despite her attitude, she's naïve and weak.

At least his brother was useful. He gave half of his life to Kian. That way, the two of them will be together for eternity.

Once he heard in his earpiece that his family was there, Kian left for the tribune. He took a seat on the side and looked at the thrones. There were only four of them, unlike usual. It seems like they intend to give the news today.

He frowned. If they waited, he would've changed the agreement. He'll still change it once he becomes emperor. Elian looked at the people, who were looking at the screen excitedly, to see Lucian and Kian enter.
