Kian looked at Lucian and then twirled his hand. Two figures appeared. They all recognized Elian, but the other was a stranger. They all listened as Elian spoke about his plan to kill Lucian, and to sit on the throne next to Kian, once he deals with the rest of his family.

When they had seen enough, Kian waved his hand and the shadows disappeared. Lucian looked at Kian again and asked:

"Were you not going to tell me?"

Before they spoke, he's positive that Kian wasn't. Kian looked at Lucian, biting his lip. He looked at him teary-eyed, his heart pulsing out of his chest. He doesn't want to lie to him, but he's not sure how Lucian will react.

He wants their relationship to be real, and it can't be if he isn't honest. Lucian tilted his head and said:

"You said you wouldn't keep anything from me."
