"Princess Helene is missing?" I asked whilst reading through the tablet device Qixu had handed over to me.

Though the council was reluctant, Qixu had managed to convince them to allow us some of the technology, as long as we kept it hidden. The second we failed in hiding it, they threatened they would take it away and offer no more assistance to us. So we could only do our best to be careful.

In a way, I was grateful for their trust. I knew how their previous beliefs, imparted from their ancestors, were important to them. However, the increasing Draconian intervention seemed to be forcing their hand, alongside mine.

"Her and a large majority of the Golden Lion clan soldiers are all unaccounted for, they had left before we even arrived," she sighed and poured out my late-night tea. It was Ren's own personal creation, that she had reluctantly shared with Qixu before we departed.

This chapter is a bit of an information dump. It's so hard for me to write.

I have passionately elaborated on the world's background/lore in my google docs, yet it's very hard to actually get that into the story without overwhelming you guys.

I'm debating writing out some information clearly to share about each Arc's world and the novel universes' lore in general, to share in my discord group.
