"Keith?" Wynter called out his name again.

It's just his name. He had heard it countless times in his life but why does it sound different coming from her lips? Just why? He had no fvcking idea... But to him, it sounded like music in his ears. However fvcking corny that may sound.

Wynter frowned when Keith did not respond to her for the second time again. He was just there, staring at her face like she had grown another head or something. He was also caressing her cheek, which made her heart absolutely flutter.

She wants to swoon. She wants to hope. His eyes were on hers, and they held something akin to possessiveness in there, and something else that she could not name. She could not help but be optimistic, that maybe, just maybe, something could develop between them more than just physical intimacy.

She had told herself that she shouldn't because she knows it would hurt. But what could she do if her heart does not follow what her mind tells her to?
