Third Person's POV
The young lad arrived at the Serpent's Lair just as the sun began to set, casting long shadows over the entrance to the winding tunnels. The serpents had always been guardians of ancient secrets, and their wisdom was invaluable. As he entered the lair, the cool air and the faint smell of earth and stone greeted him.
"Seraphina," the young lad called out, his voice echoing through the caverns.
From the darkness, Seraphina emerged, her emerald scales catching the last rays of sunlight. Her eyes glinted with curiosity and concern. "My lord, you have returned."
"Yes," he replied, his tone serious. "I spoke with Ellen. There's a disturbance in the floating land, and we believe it's connected to the ancient magics. You mentioned sensing something off. Can you tell me more?"
