章節 1: Appolo Sethlans (1)
In New York, USA. It was afternoon in a room in a cheap hotel near the Hyde Park. A young man was sweating as he was doing pushups intensely.
After some time the boy fell flatly on the floor gasping for air, he turned to face the ceiling while trying beast the pain running through his body.
He sat with difficulty and looked at the scenery outside his window.
"Aaaaa..."
Apollo sighted as he could no longer do any type of physical exercise for at least a week and went slowly take a shower as he needed to get ready to go to school. Looking at the mirror in the bathroom he still couldn't believe that he had traveled to another world.
Apollo could be held as a modern world god in terms of appearance but the sickly features carved in his face due to a genetic disease had camouflage his handsomeness. Seeing his appearance he still couldn't help but smile, blonde hair, a fairly lean body although with the difficulty to do intense exercise and dark violet eyes.
Apollo right now its a person from this world but he originally was from a planet called Earth.
Coincidently in both worlds, Apollo had the same name and the same family circumstances. Yes, that's right he is an orphan.
In his original world, Apollo didn't even have a name so he named himself after a Greek God, Apollo because even if the reason his weird, he ever since he was born he always liked the sun than any other thing. Although along the years he turned into someone that nobody would disrespect he craved for freedom. He wanted to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
In this world, the reason why he is called Apollo it's because of his nerd father. His father, Travis Sethlans, always like the space and the comics about extraterrestrial life in other planets, so when the man landed on the moon his father named him after the code name of the mission, Apollo Sethlans.
After he came to this world, Apollo noticed that this world was also called Earth, but this Earth was very different from his original Earth.
To make his dead father happy, there are indeed aliens on Earth. There are also mutants and groups of people that are considered by the masses as heroes, like the X-Men and The Avengers. All of these people possess some kind of ability or superpower that distinguished them from the normal people.
Although in his past life, Apollo wasn't properly living a life where your enemies would give you time to read extensively comic books he still knew that this was probably the Marvel Universe. He always liked the kind of world where you didn't have to resort to schemes or intimations or mass massacres so that people feared you, in the kind of world that he like he would just have to show his power.
Leaving the shower, Apollo began dressing slowly to not worsen his condition. His disease affected his entire vascular system giving problems when he made any type of exercise as the blood couldn't transport enough oxygen to his muscles that in turn weakened Apollo's overall condition.
His father also had the same genetic blood cell disease, to facilitated the explanation it his a rare genetic disease very similar to Sickle cell anemia. It makes the blood cells acquire sickle like shapes that prevents them to transport oxygen properly that results in the weakening of the body, mind, and dizziness.
After dressing up and eating some fast breakfast, he returns to bed and picked up his computer.
