Kaley's Pov

Three hours earlier.

I pushed everything away, the guilt, the pain, the grief... everything as I entered the cave Katy was hiding out in.

"Katy, it's me"

I waited for her to climb out of the little space she crawled into, something a little girl should never have to do.

I waited...any moment now but she didn't climb out.

Lucious!

He was in the forest earlier on!

I felt a hot flash!

"Katy!" I yelled on top of my voice.

She was gone.

I ran like I have never done before and I found him just as he was trying to leave the forest.

"Lucious! Where is she!"

I smacked him right across the face and he staggered before catching his footing.

He backed away from me.

"What did you do to her?!"

"Who?"

"Katy, you dimwit!"

"Nothing good, obviously" he whispered.

"You psycho! You hurt her, I will kill you!. Get out! Get out of my pack right now!" I yelled at him.
