"Dicky!"

The voice came from behind me..I turned around and found Joey running towards me on the ground.

Emily didn't even look surprised to see him run out of her bathroom. Who could blame her?! There is hardly one without the other.

"Dicky!" Joey called out and went around to help me sit up.

I exhaled.

"Did I hurt him too badly?" Emily asked Joey.

Joey lowered himself and pulled me out from behind the closet door. My eyes opened as I made sense of my environment and the cold truth hit me. I was incapacitated by a woman half my size. I would never scrub the shame and the future laughter out.

I wondered how Joey would tell the story to the rest of the group. Will he make me out to be the victim and tell it with compassion or will he make me the laughing stock that was taken down by a little lady with a freaking toy!
