"Charmeleon! Use metal claw! Zorua, shadow ball! Kabutops, aqua jet!" I shouted, a surge of excitement and determination coursing through me. Charmeleon and Kabutops charged in for the attack, Kabutops surrounded by water shooting off like a pistol, while Charmeleon followed closely behind, its claws encased in metal.
The Charizard saw our advances and attempted to stop us with an earthquake, but Kabutops' aqua jet promptly disrupted it, allowing Charmeleon to get close enough to land his attack.
"Zorua, now!" I yelled as the Charizard was distracted by the onslaught of attacks. Zorua released a ball of shadow, aiming directly for the Charizard's head. A puff of smoke emitted from the collision, causing the Charizard to step backward.
"Nice!" I cheered as I reached into my pocket for a Pokéball. "I don't know what this thing is, but it sure is strong."
I tossed the Pokéball at the Charizard. Its figure turned into nothing but red light, and it was silent for a while. We all stared at the Pokéball as it shook.
Once, twice...
"Crap!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with frustration. I stepped back, creating as much space as possible. The Charizard was furious, with lava spouting from its rocky body.
"What the hell is this thing!"
The Charizard pulled its head back and used flamethrower, its fire more like lava, spewing it all over the place and hitting both Kabutops and Zorua. I promptly returned them to their Pokéballs before their burns got too serious, while Charmeleon watched it all happen.
Charmeleon's gaze turned toward the Charizard, its claws encased in metal once more as it charged at the Charizard.
"Charmeleon, wait!" I shouted after it, my voice filled with desperation, but it was too late.
The Charizard stomped on the ground, causing it to break apart. Charmeleon didn't stand a chance, falling due to one of the cracks and hitting his head hard against the ground.
"Charmeleon, return!"
The Charizard got out of control, spewing lava everywhere in its fit of rage. I stepped back, my feet planted firmly to the ground in fear, as if my body wanted to avoid getting melted.
"Jirachi!" I didn't hear much after that. My mind went into a haze as I fell to the floor, stars flying around my eyes.
"What's... happening?"

"Oi, wake up you ingrate!" I felt a sharp sting to my cheek, jolting me awake from my deep slumber.
"Where.. Am i?" I managed to say through the pounding headache, I grabbed my head in fatigue not being able to recognize the place around me.
My eyes finally settled on a boy in front of me, he was about my age, his long brown hair and his green beanie stood out to me.
"You!" I shouted, crawling back a bit until my head hit a tree. "Ouuuuch!"
"A thank you would be nice," the man muttered, getting up from my level, both hands on his hip. "Well??"
I looked down to my feet, soon looking around me, seeing that I was still in the forest but the Charizard was nowhere in sight. Did this guy defeat him?
"Thanks I guess," I muttered, looking away from him.
The boy sighed, reaching his hand out to me to help me from the ground,
"My name is Khalid, what about you?" hesitantly I took his hand, immediately lifted from the ground as I did.
"Ayuna," I introduced,
"Ok," He smiled, "Now that we've been properly introduced~"
A loud bonk sound was heard which ended with me grabbing my head in pain.
"What the hell were you thinking!? Fighting a monster like that, are you nuts!?" He shouted at me, "Thanks to you I couldn't get those stones in time and now it's back to its cave!"
"I never asked you to save me!" I shouted back, tears stinging my eyes from his blow I had just received.
"Well too bad for you I did! Now you owe me! So we're going to go back there! And we're going to get those stones from him!"
I gritted my teeth before soon letting out a reluctant sigh, nodding slowly.
"Fine! Fine! I'll help you."

Chloe and Mindy boarded a ship to the seven isle where the competition will take place, as they took their seats, Chloe let out a deep sigh looking out the window as they surfed the water.
"What's wrong? Something on your mind?" Mindy asked, an eyebrow raised in curiosity.
"Yeah, I just hope Ayuna's alright." Chloe admitted even though deep down she didn't want to.
"Are you still worried about him even after what he did?"
"I mean yeah-" Chloe looked at Mindy, her eyebrows furrowed, "Up until then he was a very supportive guy, I just feel bad that I let that one thing make us part so bitterly."
Mindy lets out a soft smile before shaking her head slowly,
"You're hopeless," She muttered, "I'm sure you'll see him again, and I'm sure he'll be wanting to apologize too."
Chloe smiled with her, nodding.
"Yeah! I hope you're right"
