Alana, Alane, and the rest of the Pokemon continued to work as usual. All the while, Leon went over to speak with the trio about what happened.
Leon already knew what had happened since Alakazam had informed him earlier. Alakazam was even telepathically instructing Hitmonchan.
This was why Hitmonchan seemed smarter than it should be in combat.
The trio relayed everything that happened, while Leon nodded and listened. Leon told them not to worry because they were the ones that started it.
The trio grabbed a few rags and hand scrubbers, they went out back to check on the equipment that was placed there.
Looking at them leaving, many thoughts started to circulate through Leon's train of thought. These people would become his Admins in the future, so he wanted to start them off with a good Pokemon.
From there on, they would have to catch their own Pokemon themselves. He wasn't going to give them a Pokemon yet, not until this place was mostly fixed up.
After sitting in the building for about 30 minutes, Leon went outside. The fire Pokemon he had summoned was keeping the area dry and hot. The boys were scrubbing some desks and tables, they didn't bother cleaning the cushioned chairs.
"I'll need to get these overgrown weeds off of the parking lot." Leon wanted to use this parking lot to bring in some income.
With this in mind, Leon called over a Flareon and Magmar to burn these weeds. He also had a Poliwrath and Blastoise on standby to avoid wildfires.
Both Flareon and Magmar went to town on the weeds, they burned every weed they spotted.
Afterward, Blastoise and Poliwrath put out the brewing fires. Next, Leon had a group of Geodude and Graveler pick up the rubble. They dumped it all in a trashcan that was placed on the scene.
Leon could see that the rain in the distance had lightened up. He was unaware, but many people in the radius of Sunny Day were stunned by the strange weather phenomenon. It was raining somewhere else, but it was sunny in another location.
Leon relaxed and watched the Geodude and Graveler working on the parking lot. The smoke was blown away by a Pidgeot Leon had summoned in the process. Pokemon made the best workers, they were better than any human in Leon's book.
Leon's attention was averted to Pokemon Home, this really got him thinking about the restrictions. His main focus and thoughts were on the Pokemon that had disappeared altogether.
These Pokemon could pull off some insane feats, this could be one of the reasons for their disappearance.
Perhaps, this was to limit him from going overboard, after all, Jirachi could grant wishes, Arceus was a god, and Celebi and Dialga could travel through time. In actuality, Leon couldn't care less about their disappearance, he was satisfied with what he had.
Time went by steadily, and the rain in the distance had completely stopped while the Golem evolutionary line was nearly done. Leon needed to start making money right now—that's when he recalled the Black Market.
"Ah, right, the Black Market is someways from this location. I could make a pretty penny there if I were to sell a Pokemon egg or something."
This was where all sorts of troublesome and corrupted people gathered. Even people from the core of Viridian City would check this Black Market out for some goods not sold in stores.
"Of course, if I'm going to be selling an egg, it can't be a super rare Pokemon." The place was already dangerous, if he were to come out and say he was selling something like a Dratini egg—it would only spell disaster.
He wasn't afraid of trouble since he had some crazy powerful Pokemon on standby, but he would rather not be known like this right away. It was better to keep a low profile, so as to not draw any unwanted attention from certain parties.
"A decent Aptitude Weedle, Pidgey, and Caterpie should fetch a good price." Bug pokemon such as Weedle and Caterpie grew swiftly, so a trainer would become powerful almost immediately.
The only downside was that these Pokemon didn't have long life spans besides Pidgey—who could live a decent amount of time.
However, besides that, there was no doubt people would come rushing to purchase them. Leon was almost certain he would run into trouble during his sale.
"To avoid needless trouble, I'll have to flex my strength a bit." A powerful bodyguard like a Machamp or Machoke would stave off just about any and everyone. He may grab someone's attention from this, but it shouldn't be negative.
"I'll head to the black market tomorrow, for now, I need to work on this place," Leon commanded his team of Fire Pokemon to stop using Sunny Day. They were all taking turns using Sunny Day since it would go on cooldown for a certain period of time.
Lucian, Rigor, and Ace were going back and forth into the building to grab more soap to better clean desks. The reason was because of Leon, who was going to need a stall for tomorrow at the Black Market.
Leon wanted to buy a Floor polisher and several other things for this building. Windows needed to be replaced, but most importantly, Leon needed to buy this building. Further down the line, things might heat up—where it might involve legal action.
Leon recalled a majority of the Fire Pokemon back while leaving a few to keep watch. He headed back into the building and noticed that there was no one on the first floor.
Alakazam suddenly told Leon that they moved to the next floor; they were continuing the same process as they did for the first floor.
Leon nodded when he heard this, but the sun was starting to set, though it hadn't reached its setting horizon point—it was close.
Leon spotted Dragonair and Kadabra coming down from the second floor. They had given the dysfunctional lightbulbs to Jynx, so she could add them to the basket she had.
Dragonair was by no means a small Pokemon, its snake-like body stood around 13'5 in height when standing straight up. Dragonair could levitate, but it could fly with the 2 wings on the side of its head.
If anyone saw this Dragonair, they would lose their minds because it was such a rare Pokemon. Kadabra was the same, it was intelligent and a psychic type Pokemon, which was hard to catch.
Abra was difficult to acquire since it could sense people from afar, by then, it would simply teleport away.
Leon recalled Dragonair, he didn't want to risk people seeing this particular Pokemon. He left Hitmonchan and Kadabra to keep watch on the first floor while he left.
Everyone was aware that Alakazam or Slowking could teleport them back to their home. Leon left the building and took Machoke with him. His destination was the flower and berry shop, it was a shop based on gardening in every aspect.
Leon walked outside and spotted what appeared to be meaty bits of some sort on the concrete. The walkway was still heavily damp from the previous downpour.
Leon would need to get this front walkway cleaned up before the sun popped out. The smell would be horrendous if he allowed something like this to stay. He continued on and began walking the streets where he was met with many strange gazes.
Leon didn't bother with these weird looks, they seemed more concerned about Machoke's presence than anything else. In just under 10 minutes, Leon came to a shop that was his destination.
-Flower Leaf Shop-
"This place should have what I want and need to get my garden started." Leon pushed the door open, which gave off a bell chiming sound to alert them that they had a customer.
"Oh, young man, can I help you with something?" A middle-aged woman gazed over at Leon with surprise.
Her surprise turned to shock when she eyed the Machoke that came in with him. But she only displayed this expression for a second before reverting back to her professional appearance.
"I want to put an order in, is that okay or..." Leon gazed around the shop, he could see many different pots housing many different colored flowers. Some of these flowers gave off a fruity aroma, while some gave off a perfume-like aroma.
"Uh, yeah, sure, what would you like to order? I can have it for you in two days if you're really willing to purchase something." She had green eyes and hair which was dressed up in a ponytail, this woman had fair skin and wore a green maid-like outfit.
"Yes, I would like an order of your best soil, berry seeds, and a water pail for flowers..."
Leon began to list the things he needed, as she wrote them down as quickly as she could. He went on about the number of bags of soil he needed, the number of water pails, the different types of berries, and the number of flower seeds.
In this type of neighborhood, for a kid to request these types of things was surprising to her. Normally, she would probably ask him to show her the money first to prove he could even afford these items.
However, when she saw Machoke—a first-stage evolutionary Pokemon, this indicated that this kid had some type of background.
"These items can all be delivered in two days from now, are there any other things you require?" The green-haired store owner asked.
"No, that'll be all, I'll pick up all of these items on that day. Of course, I'll have the money, it wouldn't make sense to rob or deceive a flower store, so relax." Leon could tell that she was somewhat uneasy about this whole situation.
"Right, I'm just surprised a kid like you wants to start gardening. By the way, my name is Rosa, I'll be especially taking care of your order. On a quick note, I'll be needing your name for this order." Rosa smiled and said.
"My name is Leon; that's all. Since my order is complete, I'll be off now. But thanks." Leon nodded with a smirk before turning to leave.
"And thank you." Rosa smiled before going to put the order in.
Leon got to walking down the street again, there wasn't anything new or out of the ordinary. A few men in the distance hanging around an alleyway saw Leon and Machoke. Once they did, they pointed at him and hurriedly left the area with panicked expressions.
Leon wasn't bothered by this, this was, in fact—a good thing. Just as he was passing the alley, he saw something sitting next to a few dumpsters that sparked his interest.
"Oh, this could actually be useful to me at the black market" Leon smiled joyfully and ordered Machoke to carry it out.
