[Adrian's POV]
Absentmindedly twiddling with his smartphone, Adrian sighed the umpteenth time and sank himself on the cushioned bench across Aaron's hospital bed. The private room his brother has been transferred to was spacious; peach-colored walls, white beddings, and bedside drawer to put their things.
The smell of antiseptic still swirled in the air. But it's not as bad as when they were in the ICU. A piece of an orange's peeled skin hit Adrian on the cheek, jolting him from his deep thoughts.
"Stop brooding in front of me like you just got dumped," Aaron said with a snigger before he popped one juicy orange carpel to his mouth. "Did you have a fight with Rhia?"
Adrian rubbed the dryness from his eyes with a sigh. He shook his head. "No, we did not. We're good."
Yes, Aaron. Whack some senses into your brother's head. :D
