[Johan's POV]

The sound of his alarm pulled his slipping consciousness back to the land of the living. The sleeping man beside him stirred at the sudden noise, so Johan lowered the volume before it awoke him. He stared at the screen and the reminder he set before leaving his apartment flashed in bold letters: VIRTUAL ROOMMATES GET-TOGETHER PARTY - 10 PM.

While waiting for Jerome yesterday at the convenience store, he had informed the group that he would show up since he's in the metro. It would be a waste if he didn't make the most out of his Manila escapade worthwhile, but the exhaustion from the childish activity he had with Jerome and his emotional breakdown earlier made him reluctant to attend.

Johan stopped the alarm, then logged onto the site.
