His mother only forbade him to use his motorbike for a week, but it felt like forever had passed since then. Adrian reveled in the rush of night breeze while they trailed through the busy highway leading to the town of Subic, passing by the lighthouse near the beach.

As they passed by a local cemetery, the arms around his waist tightened a little, reminding him of the first time he drove Johan to his apartment after a night of too much drink and singing. That was also the night Johan confirmed his crush on him. The memory brought a squirming sensation to where the hand nestled on his abdomen.

"You okay, Han?" Adrian asked over the roar of vehicles. "Are you scared of cemeteries?"
