"Ka!" Another earth spirit was caught. It twisted and turned, trying its best to get out of little's Boo's grip while screaming. However, its screams were ignored as it was tossed into the sack. 

Seeing two unknown things wiggling around, Little daze scooted over to get a better look. It stuck out its tongue almost as if to eat them. 

This scared the spirits as they made extremely high-pitched screams that hurt one's ear. 

"Little Daze!" Lu Mingshu stopped it in time. "This isn't food; you won't be able to digest it." 

Due to taking in too much energy from the ground daily, one couldn't digest the spirits, so if anyone ate them accidentally, it would have grave consequences. 

"Neigh!" Little daze trotted away after letting out a sad neigh. 

To little daze, anything that couldn't be eaten was useless.
