章節 79: Eternals
Shadow Isles was covered in the party atmosphere in the evening. After executing the biggest mission so far and most important in terms of their future, the entire Shadow Isles was covered in a party frenzy.
Phil managed to arrive first at the scene (after leaving a thoroughly satisfied wife back at home) and then everyone else joined him. Master Mordo even bought the ancient one tonight for the party. Her presence was required more for the meeting afterwards, but Master Mordo managed to drag his teacher here to enjoy the final years of her life.
"Everyone, before we start the celebrations, I would like to say a few words. It was in 1991, almost a decade back when I started my personal mission to protect this damn world. All I wanted was to bring together everyone who can contribute to this mission and help me keep my family, my friends and everyone else safe.
Family. That was the key thing that made me start my mission and tonight, I can confidently say, we are one family. We have bled together, fought together, saved lives, and lost some people in this journey. The memorial placed outside has names engraved upon it, the name of some of the most selfless and bravest, men and women I knew. Because of their sacrifice, many will sleep safely tonight.
I hope you all know that each and every one of you, (hearing a Dino bird screeching in the sky), even you guys, are part of our family. The family of Knights. Lets' have a toast to the journey we travelled and for the journey ahead!"
After a short speech from Phil, the party started formally. The knight soldiers happily chatted today with their teammates, drinking beer, and eating some roasted meat. Some even started arm wrestling, and some started competing with others in their own way.
In the HQ, three groups could be identified. One belonged to the adults of Shadow Isles with Sorcerers. The second was the new Inhuman Adults and finally the third was kids. After some slight celebration, the meeting started with Fury taking control of the whole situation.
"The Alien attack plan was very successful. We not only pushed the idea of a collective government but also established the presence of a new god. This will bridge the gap between many cultures and countries.
Now, thanks to the Project Falcon Map that we started this year, we were able to monitor the planet closely during this mission and found several strong individuals in many different parts of the world.
Let's have a look."
Fury asked Martha to display pictures of all the strong individuals they captured. From Mandarin to the bear in Russia, all the pictures were displayed. There was also a short video of these people that highlighted their fighting power.
Ancient one immediately recognised the Mandarin and three Eternals in the Middle East. In her lifetime she had already crossed paths with Mandarin. Also, there is a short story from the first Sorcerer Supreme about the presence of a group of Cosmic beings on Earth that are in hiding. These people fought for humanity with Odin and other Asgardians against the Frost Giants' invasion.
The hand-drawn sketches from his time matched perfectly with these three Eternals. Even Master Mordo who has read these old collections was quickly able to deduce the same thing. However, they were unable to match Kingo with Eternals as his location was quite in India far away from the three.
Black Bat looked closely at that Russian Bear and felt he was a part of their group. An Inhuman child. He gave his wife slight signals about the same and Medusa noted it.
Fury after some time took the stage back and took the meeting forward.
"Now, these three are clearly part of the same group but they are hiding in the Middle East for unknown reasons. We simply have no idea about their background as they are not listed in any known agency. Any ideas?"
Master Mordo looked seriously at Ancient One, but she simply smiled. She had already resigned herself to her fate and this was the job of the new sorcerer supreme. Master Mordo felt more work coming on his plate and he could not curse his previous master for not doing anything about this group.
"Ahem!" Attracting attention towards himself, Master Mordo made some hand signs and chanted some spells. Soon, a portal opened, and a few old pictures came out of the portal and began to fly in the air. Then they were projected into the air by slight golden particles.
There were the sketches drawn by the first Sorcerer Supreme. There were 10 sketches and after observation, everyone was able to match the four Eternals in the photos shown by Martha.
"These sketches were drawn by the first Sorcerer Supreme after his meeting with Odin, the Asgardian King. In his notes, he mentioned that there were 10 cosmic individuals who protected Earth along with Odin and his force and defeated the Frost Giants when they attacked our planet."
Master Mordo gave a short description of the Eternals, but his few sentences shocked the whole room.
"Hold up, what do you mean by Odin, the Asgardian King?" Hank asked first before Fury shot the next question "And Frost Giants that attacked the Earth?"
Master Mordo knew the agreement between the Shadow Isles and Kamar Taj to share the information but how can he share the information regarding Odin and Eternals. What if these groups of super crazy scientists started researching the power of immortality or Gods? What if they ended up offending Odin, the ruler of Nine Realms?
"Little Brother, I want to meet these people." Suddenly a voice interrupted everyone's chain of thoughts.
Singularity silently appeared in the room and looked closely at the Eternals. She could feel the presence of Cosmic energy inside them. However, it felt like the energy was constrained like an object instead of a free malleable energy form of a living being.
It was so strange. Cosmic beings that were alive but not alive at the same time!
