Arfes forced himself upright, even as the oppressive heat and dark magic weighed heavily on him, but if he wasn't strong for the group, then who will bear the responsability. The sight of the newly summoned abomination, the Evil Blossom, a massive amalgamation of bones and cursed spirits, sent a shiver down his spine, it's the first time he saw an undead like that, but it felt... incomplete, like an egg, a terrible egg getting ready to hatch something even worst. This was not a simple dungeon fight anymore, it suddenly had turned into something else... they were up against something far worse. But he wasn't about to let fear take hold.

"We need to focus!" Arfes shouted, trying to rally the group "Let's fight to live another day!" He rised to his foot and gazed towards the boss monster.

Raven staggered to her feet, the heat burning her skin even through her clothes, but her sharp eyes were fixed on Morwrath, she noticed it too, the monster for some reason wasn't focusing them anymore, it had stopped and was looking toward a distant point in the dessert, as if it noticed something. Raven clenched her fists, her tail flicking in frustration.

'We can't just keep getting pushed around' She thought bitterly 'We need to get control back'

"Raven, Fuwa!" Arfes called out, locking eyes with the two girls "We need to coordinate our attacks now! Eisir, Mary focus your fire on that monstrosity before it powers up, use anything you seem fit, don't care about the cost! Argos, get ready to shield us. We can't let it unleash whatever it's preparing"

"『Aqua Heal』!" Raven casted once again repeatedly on the team, she was getting near her limit, but at least she could recover them a little.

Arrows whistled through the air as Eisir and Mary fired off rapid shots of both magic and arrows alike, aiming for the vulnerable parts of the Evil Blossom's structure. The creature let out a hideous, low groan as the arrows embedded themselves in its fused bones, but it continued to power up, its core pulsating with dark energy.

"『Enhance Arrows』!" Eisir chanted, empowering his next volley with explosive magic. His arrows struck the abomination with greater force, sending shards of bone flying.

For a moment the master of the creature looked bellow, but then his focus shifted toward something else "I see now" It claimed with a strange sensation of realization.

"『Small Bombard』!" Mary casted a massive fire spell who produced a decent explosion, it ground shaked with violence, even more bone shards sprawled everywhere, some of the souls got able to escape from the amalgamation.

Argos, Fuwa and Arfes charged forward and started to thit the monster with all kind of attacks, the exterior wasn't that hard, luckily for them, but everything made no sense, for some reason the boss monster had stopped his assault, summoning something like this that take time to properly spawn alone didn't made much sense, the best strategy would be or protect it with a barrier or cover it with more monsters, but then again, they were able to beat it between everyone.

"We got this!" Fuwa said regaining her trust, when she spotted inside the creature a giant disgusting eye looking at her with poisonous hate "Aaahh!!" She screammed and jumped back.

The eye got crushed by the warrior shield, Fuwa didn't wanted to see what was being created inside the bone shell, the thing inside must be disgusting and terifying. Arfes used a sword technique and his sword starting emiting vibrations, when it pierced the vulnerable part where the eye had been, the creature erupted in blood and collapsed.

"Good job, now we gotta take care of the rex monste!" The leader claimed raising his sword to the sky pointed towards the undead magician monster.

But when the group looked at the monster they all felt intimidated, the air around it crackled with pure and condensated magical energy, now it was so obvious that even the untrained eyes would notice it, the enemy was chanting a large incantation, for the first time they had encountered it.. but then, the spell wasn't casted against the group, but insteat towards the sky.

"S-Sir what's going on!?" Asked the support confused and scared.

The terrifying lighning struck something in the sky, all the place started to tremble... something... the air around them was distorted with strange energy.

"I won't be trapped by a lowly creature!" The undead mage proclaimed launching another barrage of attacks.

The group looked at the barrage of attacks confused, what the hell was going on, what was the strange sensation on the air, none had words to describe what was going on. Fuwa ran toward Raven and hugged her in a protective way, and for the first time she didn't complain at all, both of them were witnessign the strange situation.

'What creature!?' Thought Raven, was there something she was ignoring?

"What!?" Raven and Fuwa exclaimed at the same time.

The monster boss launched an even more powerful barrage of spells that hitted something in the distance. For a moment, mind tricks seemed to be at play, for a moment Raven thought she was on a jungle, then on some sort of temple.

"What the hell is going on!" Ravne screammed hugging back Fuwa.

The rest of the group seemed to have regrouped too, Arfes looked at both girls but in front of them appeared a complete different group of adventurers, they looked back at them surprised then it shifted back to the desert.

Raven felt her heart sink. Fuwa looked at her and smiled bitterly, both of them for a fraction of a second saw a happy Undine waving at them only to instantly come back to the desert.

Then they heard it. The dungeon screamed. It sounded like a wounded whale, but it was a scream, deep and agonizing, the damage caused by the undead had been enough to be noticed by whatever he was fightning against.

Outside the dungeon.

Ito and his elf companion were getting ready to dive to the fourth floor, he felt confident. When suddenly the doorway to the dungeon turned red, crimson red, paniqued screams sounded along, people got away from the dungeon entrace not wanting to go through the sinister portal.

"What is going on?" He wondered looking at the elf who looked amazed at the scene.

He grinned and picked her up like a princess.

"Hey what are you doing perv master?" She said blushing.

"Back to the room" He said 'No way I'm going inside that thing right now, but I'm not wasting time' he smiled happily and walked away from the dark omen.

Something hit the shield of the rex monster, an enormous explosion send everyone back at the ground flying away a couple of meters. The monster wasn't done.

"I won't submit to a farse!" Exclaimed the monter up for a fight, casting another charge of energy agaisnt the sky "Creature of hell, eater of worlds, I won't succumb to your twisted games!" Exclaimed the undead rebelling against its destiny.

Then some kind of magic bolt flared against the undead, but he teleported to dodge the attack, but, the impact fall upon the rest of the group, all of them got engulfed by strange energy and vanished from existence. Fuwa gasped and extended her hand to where the rest of the party was a couple of seconds ago.

[Arfes lvl3, Argos lvl3, Eisir lvl3, Mary lvl2 Yineri lvl1 have left the party]

Raven looked with her mouth wide open unable to understand what had happened. Then the undead boss kept fightning in the sky against his enemy. She felt confused, she felt frustrated, was this really the end?

Both girls trembled like insects in the wake of the battle, a battle which the undead that had overpowered them was losing miserably, he looked terrible damaged after a couple of hits and then used what it looked like it's last resort, a bunch of tiny flames that were casted against the sky where they liberated massive explosions at the distance, but then again, it's enemy was way stronger, after that last act of rebellion a barrage of strange spells impacted against its skeletal body dissapearing too... other spell bolts were flying toward them, Raven and Fuwa noticed that the world was slowling.

"Fuwa" Raven said.

The girl looked at her with teary eyes, it was their turn.

"I like you" Raven said with a cocky smile on her face as both were engulfed by the unknown spell.
