章節 21: Chapter 21
Eternal youth was something millions or even billions would exchange a left testicle for. Some would argue that they wouldn't want it because they would get bored or don't want to live after their family/friends died. I tell them what I tell most who annoy me, kill yourself. When you are bored or whatever, you could just do it. It's not like you're invulnerable.
I would rather die when I want to than live a few years as an old man. Now I finally achieved this dream and I didn't regret it one bit. I was officially 18 to the outside world and was ready to change up my life a bit, it was time to move out of this home. Iliana's education is finished and I wanted to live a more luxurious life.
"Did you hear that Germany invaded Poland?" Iliana asked. "Apparently a child of Hades is helping their war effort."
"Yes, Germany has done some fucked things in the past few years. Just invading another country is not even one of the top 50 worst things, so I am not really that worried. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the whole of Europe turns into a warzone," I replied. It would get worse than that, it isn't a world war if only one continent is involved.
"Not worried and the entirety of Europe turning into a warzone, how can you say these things together with a straight face," She asks before shaking her head. "If we get involved in this war, then we could gain a huge amount of prestige and get you closer to your goals,"
"Let's imagine we killed the demigod, not only would we have the animosity of Hades but the war will still continue. Prestige, please. I killed the mother of monsters on my first quest yet that didn't really advance my goals." While I wasn't worried about upsetting Hades that much, since I wasn't planning on dying either. I didn't want to upset a god if it offered little benefit.
"I missed going on quests. Now that school is over, I finally have enough time on my plate," She said.
"We can still, Iliana. Have you ever wondered about going to the sea of monsters," I asked, the fleece was something I wouldn't mind getting my hands on. It could have allowed Kronos to sort of come back and imagine how it could benefit me.

"The serum is ready," Daedalus said as soon as I entered his workshop. "When do you want it,"
"Right now is fine, I have a new mission that I have to attend, so I wouldn't mind the powerup," I said.
"Good, get comfortable I will administer the serum as soon as you are strapped up," He said and questioned him with charmspeak to make sure this was safe. When I confirmed I did as he suggested.
As I was strapped to the bed. I made sure my ears were functioning properly and began using my divine powers, also known as charmspeak. "Do not feel any pain for the next few hours,"
A ton of needles connected with my major arteries and pumped me full of nectar before giving me the serum Daedalus created. My body lit up and I felt my muscles reform and twist. Though no pain was felt, it was always an interesting experience.
A couple of hours later, I woke and requested a mirror. I looked the same, still standing at 6'8 feet and still had my fighter's build. Though clenching my arms, I could feel the raw power in them.
"I am going to the gym, get the people ready who you experimented on, I'll rob them of their power," I said. I wanted to be the only super demigod unless I reached the level of the gods.
I picked up the weights and got on the bench before lifting them. It was currently around 8 tons which were my usual limit, now though it was the easiest shit I ever did.
"Put on more weights," I ordered the automatons and they followed until I was bench pressing 20 tons with effort. At the moment I knew I was stronger than a lot of minor gods(bar strength gods), without them using their powers to turn into giants.
'Now onto the speed test,' I thought and began running on the treadmill. I easily left behind my previous record of 180km/h and with effort reached 340km/h. I continued testing more things, including my reflexes which were one of my best assets before and now it was practically godlike.
Things I did as a small child haven't been forgotten anymore and I could vividly remember everything I did in this life and the life before. All in all, I couldn't regret this upgrade and the threat of dying lowered by a huge amount which was a bonus.
I left the room soon and was met with the successful(surviving) experiments. They were only two and I was loathed to kill them since they won't lose the effects of the serum if they get resurrected.
It was time to make the labyrinth mine completely and the sacrifices of two of the physically strongest demigods and permission of the owner would make for a sufficient ritual. Not only will they lose their powers but also their life, it was a decent way to get rid of all the loose ends.
Kronos POV:
For aeons, he was confined in Tartarus, living in eternal pain, something that many would say he deserved. The Titan Of Time has tried manipulating many to help him, but his plans always failed.
It didn't stop him from trying though, he wanted out and there was always someone dissatisfied with the status quo who would gleefully help him. Who would the person be was the real question, his siblings were out, as useful as most of them were. They were either imprisoned as well or cowards.
That left him with either minor gods or demigods, someone who he could possess would be useful since he didn't exactly trust easily. The fact he ate his babies was a testament to that.
It didn't matter. Kronos would be free, whether it be in a year or a century and he will have his vengeance against those dastardly children of his. He could be relentless when it was needed.
