Staring down at the words in front of me until the letters blurred didn't change the words themselves, it just made them harder for me to read.

"It makes sense, in a way," grunted Wrukaog. My head snapped up as I raised an eyebrow at my mate.

"Want to clue me in?" I asked, my voice almost a hiss. Even the phantoms had stopped moving around the room and were starting to disappear one after another to get away from me. "'Cause I have no idea how any of this makes sense."
