I wanted to scream and rail at the voices for even suggesting that they put me back to sleep and have me relive that nightmare again and again.

It never felt like a nightmare to me when I was living in it. Normally, I could convince myself to wake up during a true nightmare… but these ones felt real. I could feel my feet being torn apart. I could feel the bones in my body break as I landed hard on the ground.

I could feel the life draining out of me.

Shaking my head, I curled my knees up to my chest and rested my chin on them. Looking around the dark bedroom, I finally realized why none of my males had been disturbed by my nightmare. The voices had put them to sleep.

Tilting my head to the side, I looked at the door where Axis and Pure were sitting on the floor, fast asleep. At first, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. After all, I was absolutely exhausted and stressed from the dream…
