章節 141: Approaching Separation

From the main road, Toph dragged his steps into the wintry grove to obscure himself from being seen. He made his way down to the slope and slipped through the trees. He quickened his pace, and within minutes the moonlight reflected on the wet tree branches. The mountain path had become slick under the melting snow. Every five steps or so, he would slip just a little and right his feet before gravity took him down to the snowy ground.

He just ran without knowing whether his older brother would be able to catch up or not. The only thing he knew for sure, he had to escape as far as he could and hoped to meet his older brother in the appointed place, while deep inside, the worst-case scenarios kept crossing his head.
