Hi there, long time no see... i know I've been gone for quite some time but honestly what do you expect me to do? there are only 24 hours in a day and i can't really use a quarter of that on writing and i kinda don't want to...
honestly i haven't uploaded due to a convenient combination of procrastination and a bunch of daily responsibilities that pretty much take up most of my time.
There's also a side of me that's somewhat afraid of messing up a chapter after such long periods of waiting and disappointing myself and you all.
Anyway there's only around 40 or so days left till the end of the year exams which will decide if I will remain a failure for another year or if I'm an acceptable member of society so I gotta tighten the belt so there's a realistic chance that there may not be anymore chapters for the next 40 or so days and in the worse case scenario, no more chapters for more than a year tho I'm sure it won't come to that.
Anyway If i pass, look forward to one chapter at least every 2 days while I'm on summer break, if i don't pass then there will probably still be chapters just not as frequently.

In a large underground cavern only dimly illuminated by glowing blue and purple crystals that dotted the walls.
A large white spider abomination with a human torso attached to it stood in front of a massive double door that reached all the way into the distant shadowy ceiling far above.
Extravagant rings adorned each one of the human torso's slender fingers, dark blue metal armor leggings wrapped around each one of the spider body's six legs tightly.
A simple scythe with a white shaft and a sinister curved black blade appeared in front of the spider monster with a blue flash of light before the human upper body grabbed onto it's handle tightly.
Gently putting one of it's scythe like front legs on the giant double doors that seemed to be as heavy as mountains but we're light as a feather, they slowly opened with a creak.
Behind the doors was a massive room filled with many mountains of sparkling gold and shiny items.
In the middle of the room and on top of the biggest mountain rested a giant spiralling mound of multicolored scales.
The mound of scales shook, causing some pieces of gold to slide down the mountain, the scaly mound unraveled itself Into a giant eight headed hydra.
Each one of it's heads had scales of a different color being, orange, Green, purple, brown, blue, black, white and silver.
The giant hydra slid down the mountain of gold causing an avalanche of gold coins and arrived Infront of Joseph, dwarfing him massively in not only stature but also in stats, each one it's heads looking down at him like an insect which would be completely wrong as spiders are arachnids.
Joseph cast a teleportation spell and arrived Infront of the white hydra head, slashing only once at it's white scaly neck before teleporting right in time to dodge a black beam spat out by the black head.
The white head glowed, completely removing the miniscule damage dealt to it by Joseph and replenishing the small sliver missing from it's massive HP pool at a small cost from it's equally overbearing sea of Mana.
Appearing back on the ground Joseph immediately jumped high into the air, a moment later hundreds of sharp rock spikes jutted from the ground all over the battlefield piercing high into the air.
Activating a [Fly] spell Joseph weaved between the spikes launched by the hydra at rapid succession, barely dodging them.
Joseph continuously flew up and away from the ground, once he was high enough that the spikes couldn't reach him anymore the hydra's fiery orange head opened it's mouth before spewing a giant torrent of flames that engulfed the entire room burning everything in it's path until not even ash was left as it continuously moved up towards Joseph
Joseph put his scythe back into his inventory and pulled out a wooden stick with a line of runes carved onto it from his inventory.
Breaking it, Joseph's body glowed with an orange light before the oppressive torrent of flames swallowed him.
After a few seconds the flames dispersed having left nothing in the battlefield except the mighty hydra and a floating spider.
As for the numerous treasures and and earthen pillars, they had all disappeared, leaving not even ash behind. The walls of the cavern continuously flowed down after having been heated until they had become lava and the ground had turned into a sea of magma.
Even after such a devistating attack which was easily powerful enough to be ranked among the top 3 super Tier spells in Yggdrasil the Hydra's giant HP pool hadn't been decreased at all even though it was also within the area of effect of the spell.
The reason behind that was because the devs had decided that a giant scaly tank with 9 heads that exclusively used super tier magic fueled by it's almost bottomless Mana ocean wasn't worthy of being called a world enemy so as if to spit on Joseph's face they decided to give the thing complete magic immunity just for good measure.
As for Joseph, he wasn't so lucky as even after he had used a divine rank consumable item that gave him a 90% resistance to fire attribute magic his HP bar had been slashed down to 50%.
After the fire attack ended Joseph shot down towards the Hydra. He dodged and weaved between the continuous barrage of black pillars shot at him by the black head. Doing so wasn't very difficult as they moved quite slowly.
Joseph got closer and closer towards his intended target, the white head.
Soon enough he would be at attacking range so he brandished his scythe and prepared to strike.
The sinister curved black blade pierced towards the holy white scales but just as it was about to connect it disappeared.
The silver head glowed and Joseph was instantly teleported away. Getting caught off guard Joseph had no time to react before getting struck by one of the black pillars he had dodged earlier and he instantly died.
Staring at the death screen. Joseph logged off and took off his helmet before slowly standing up and walking wobbly steps towards a pile of note books on the ground.
Scrambling through the pile, Joseph grabbed a note book labeled [World Enemy #1]. Opening it he flipped through it's pages until he reached the section about the silver head that used to be blank before writing about it's ability to forcefully teleport players.
'With this i finally managed to map out all the Hydra's abilities on it's first phase.' Three months ago, Through a massive stroke of luck, Joseph found one of Yggdrasil's world enemies hidden in a low-level goblin dungeon.
Ever since then Everything Joseph did was towards the goal of singlehandedly beating it. If he managed to do so he would very likely be the first person to have beaten a world enemy and would definitely be the first person to have ever beaten a world enemy on their own.
Joseph completely rebuilt his character around beating the hydra, completely abandoning almost all his magic with the exception of movement and buffing spells and investing most of his levels into solely increasing his movement ability.
Increasing his defense would at most allow him to take a few attacks so he didn't bother doing so and instead decided to completely rely on items for his defense having crafted many items to aid him but most of them proved useless other than the one time use divine grade items which had made him almost completely go bankrupt in the process of probing the Hydra.
After months of effort and consuming literally mountains of gold and data crystal Joseph finally managed to probe all the abilities of the Hydra's eight heads.
The orange head could release a giant sea of flames that completely engulfed the boss room.
The green head released sharp wind blades that easily left cuts hundreds of meters deep inside the tough walls.
The purple head called down a purple lightning storm.
The brown head would make giant ans deadly spikes rise from the floor and reach towards the sky.
The blue head spat out powerful water bullets.
The black head shot out pillars of black corrosion.
The white head healed the Hydra instantly and removed all negative status effects.
And the silver head forcefully moved the player anywhere it wished instantly.
More than one head never attacked at the same time as far as Joseph had scene and they always glowed before activating their abilities.
Honestly from the information Joseph currently possessed he believed that it was possible to beat the Hydra. It would consume only god knew how many resources and would take hundreds of attempts but Joseph believed that it was possible.
'But that's only as long as it doesn't start a new phase.' If he risked it all and spent an ocean of materials and months of time just to be met by a much harder second phase he would be incurring a loss that he might never recover from.
'There's also the risk that someone will stumble upon the world enemy making me lose the chance of being the first to beat it. The party that beats it first is certainly going to get a much greater reward then the ones that will beat it later. Getting a world item is pretty much certain.' Joseph rolled on the ground and stared at the ceiling while he contemplated about how he should deal with the issue that faced him.
Currently three things popped up in his mind, World champion, World disaster and world items.
The world champion class was the class awarded to each one of the winners of a world tournament. There was only one world champion per world meaning there were only 9 world champions.
When it came to the world champion class Joseph had been making preparations to be the sole winner of the tournaments since day one and he had already fully prepared 8 other accounts. All he had to do now was wait for the devs to announce the tournament which seemed to be nowhere in sight.
The world disaster class was definitely amongst the top 10 strongest classes in the game but beyond the fact that it could unleash a spell that surpassed the limits of super tier magic and that Ulbert, one of Ainz's friends had it. Joseph had no information on it, he didn't know how to acquire it nor did he know of it's other abilities.
But considering that it's most alluring feature was a spell, it probably wouldn't help him in this scenario and would end up weakening him instead.
World items seemed to be currently the best option. There were 200 world items in Yggdrasil and each one of them had extraordinary abilities beyond even a super tier spell, the only way to guard against a world item was using another world item.
Each world item had a unique ability so there was probably one that could be of great help against this world enemy. Infact Joseph vaguely remembered that the orb of Ainz Ooal Gown had a great effect against dragons if he could get it, it would surely be of great help to him.
There were two large obstacles in getting world items, number one was their rarity and number two was the difficulty of the tasks that needed to be cleared in order to aquire them.
In order to aquire the world item called the throne of kings Ainz and his friends had to clear the entirety of Nazarick, a level +80 dungeon in one attempt.
Currently Joseph had no world items even after clearing many dungeons by himself. he knew about the abilities of several world items but he only knew how to aquire two.
The first was the aforementioned throne of kings and the second was the Caloric stone which Joseph vaguely remembered could be acquired after doing something related to mines or something.
