I wanted to like this novel but after reading the free chapters, I think I'll pass. The ML is fine and likeable however the FL is spinless and a doormat. I wish she had a bit more backbone and can stand up for herself however she keeps letting her ex-husband and his family belittle and insult her without much of a peep. The relationship is all one-sided from the ML and the chemistry between the two is very lacking.
