章節 44: The Past Years!
Flashback to when Mark and Satyr Jr was young boys.
Llisia kingdom, West Blue.
Two little boys could be seeing sitting on the ground and a man standing in front of them with a stick in his hand.
One of the boys had oceanic blue eyes and pitch black hair that ran all the way down to his shoulders, the other boy had brown eyes and short yellow golden hair, what was really noticeable with the latter boy was that he had snot all over his face. The boys were, of course, Mark and Satyr Jr.
The old man standing in front of them was Jimmy Morgan. He was currently lecturing the boys on the way of the sword. He showed them how to swing a sword but the boys didn't pay any attention to Jimmy as Mark could be seen making ugly faces towards Satyr Jr.
"Concentrate!" Yelled Jimmy as he pointed his stick in Mark's direction.
"We don't want to learn, the way of the sword!" Mark immediately stood up as he held his head high in the sky. Arrogance was written all over his face!
"Mmh! Mhm!" Satyr jr also stood up as he kept nodding his head while trying to imitate Mark's actions.
"You little brats! You're were the ones who asked me to train you!" Jimmy yelled towards the two boys standing in front of him!
"And you are doing a lousy job!" Mark said as he pointed his finger at Jimmy!
"Mhm, mhm. Lousy job!" Satyr Jr nodded as he immediately agreed with Mark while trying to clear the snot off his face using his hand.
"Lousy job, I will show you a lousy job! Run a hundred times around this dojo right now or you won't be eating any dinner tonight!" Jimmy screamed as he pointed at the boys.
"No way!" Screamed Mark while looking at Jimmy nervously, he couldn't obviously give in right now, he was in the middle of acting cool in front of Satyr Jr.
"Yeah! Show him, Mark!" Shrieked Satyr Jr while looking at Mark with worshipping eyes. He actually dared to defy the orders of their foster father, this made Satyr Jr eyes brightened.
Jimmy didn't reply to Mark as he walked towards a chair in front of the dojo while looking at the other kids having fun playing some games.
"He is not serious right?" Satyr jr said as he wiped his snotty hand on Mark's shirt without himself knowing what he just did.
"You bastard! You actually wiped your snot on my shirt!" Mark screamed as he was about to punch Satyr Jr.
"Nooo! I'm sorry!" Satyr jr began to run around the dojo with Mark right behind him.
After the ran around the dojo for more than 60 times they both fell on the ground, the sky was turning dark.
"I'm so hungry!" Satyr Jr said as he held his growing stomach.
"That old man is really ruthless," Mark thought as he also held his growing stomach.
While the two boys were laying on the ground a silhouette of small figure suddenly appeared. The figure placed small pieces of meat and milk in front of them while running away.
"What was that sound?" Satyr Jr said as he tried to slowly stand up from the ground.
Mark had already spotted the silhouette but he didn't say anything and just waited for the person to disappear before he stood up and walked towards the food the silhouette had placed before them.
"Wow! The old man is so nice!" Satyr Jr said in a childish voice.
"Nope, it wasn't him!" Mark said in a mysterious tone.
This training continued for a month, while some of the days the boys had to do some other activities like swim for a whole day, carry big rocks on their back up a mountain etc. But every single day a certain someone would provide them with food even though they weren't allowed to eat.
